This helicopter ride was a rip off! We had four of us in the back of the helicopter, and I was seated flying backwards. This meant that I could hardly observe anything during the flight, because as soon as I looked at something, it was getting further away. There was never a panoramic view, as one would expect. Instead, I was twisted backwards, trying to peer through a small window that was mostly behind me. Expensive lesson in being ripped off! Also, the constant drone of helicopters over Victoria Falls is a problem. I recommend skipping this waste of money, and encourage the operators to build an IMAX theater, and sell tickets that way. Stop ruining the atmosphere at Victoria Falls.

The helicopter ride with Shearwater was an unforgettable experience and the absolute highlight of my trip. The entire team was so amazing and helpful, making us feel completely safe and relaxed from start to finish. Seeing Victoria Falls from the air is the only way to truly appreciate its massive scale the views of the gorge and the rainbows in the mist were simply breathtaking. It was a world class experience that felt totally secure and professional, and I’ll remember it forever!
One of the most incredible helicopter tours I’ve ever experienced! Shearwater’s helipad is truly out of this world. It is beautifully designed, extremely well organized, and offering an incredible experience from start to finish. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria Falls.

What an amazing expierience! These guys are very professional and they give you a wonderful expierience to descover Victoria Falls! The helicopter flight it is definately a must, after seeing the waterfall from the park! We had a beautiful guided tour of the waterfall area with Dennis, he was very nice and fun and made from this trip a beautiful story to tell!

The company postponed our flight by 1,5 hours 2 minutes in advance of the scheduled dept time. This ruined our day as we planned a lot in addition what then was unable to be squeezed in

The wonderful ‘slow motion’ feel of floating over the falls and the Zambezi river. Even I dry season it was superb.

Well planned route over the falls and surrounding national parks, helicopter pilot was excellent and the chopper was comfortable with good views from all seats. Worth the ticket price.

Attention, absolute rip-off. We had booked a transfer from Kasane to Victoria Falls City and back through an agency. The price was already quite heavy at US$70/person. Then when we arrived at the Shearwater office in Vic Falls City, suddenly we wanted to have $140 on the grounds that the price was just for the one-way trip. D.h. 560$ for 4 people!!! For this price I would have expected a flight, or at least a Range Rover in Pullman version with champagne and caviar. Instead, we changed cars six times on the way back and forth, missed our helicopter flight scheduled for 9 a.m., finally took off at 11:30 a.m., so we wasted the whole morning in the cosmopolitan city of Vic Falls City. This is what modern robbery looks like.
