“Saldremos de Puerto Viejo a las 7:45 a.m. y conduciremos durante unos 30 minutos hasta la Reserva Indígena Bribri. Allí, conoceremos a una familia indígena que compartirá su cultura, tradiciones y conocimientos ancestrales sobre plantas medicinales. Los participantes explorarán un jardín de permacultura, probarán fruta fresca de cacao y participarán en el proceso de elaboración del chocolate tradicional. En la mayoría de los casos, su guía será un guía nativo bribri del clan Duriwak Bribri. En el camino de regreso, nos detendremos en una hermosa cascada en las montañas de Talamanca, donde los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de un refrescante baño en la piscina natural debajo de las cataratas. Después de este descanso relajante, regresaremos a Puerto Viejo.” -Muchas gracias.

Great outdoor experience with insight into a different perspective. Chocolate experience and waterfall were very pleasant.
Braulio, along with the Bribri family at the reservation were so kind to show us the rich history and technique of chocolate making as well as knowledge of medicinal herbs. This tour made me appreciate this country so much more. I recommend 100%! Pura Vida!

Braulio was so awesome! Very patient and knowledgeable as he explained so much about the area. The Bribri experience was so essential if you are visiting the area, and being able to tour the reserve, make cacao paste, learn some indigenous history/Bribri phrases AND see a gorgeous waterfall off the beaten path was more than worth it. Highly recommend if in the area and have the day to spend!

Everything was perfect. Received a great overview of the culture, people and their land before making chocolate. Lunch was tasty and they accommodated my GF request. Waterfall was superb. Was not rushed. Dropped off at hotel around 5pm so longer than advertised time which I was fine with!
