También es uno de los 12 sitios de avistamiento de ballenas reconocidos por el fondo mundial para la vida silvestre. Durante la temporada de ballenas, entre junio y diciembre el tour ofrece una experiencia única con observación de ballenas en barco y en tierra. Relájese con una parada en Spier Wine Farm para disfrutar de un maridaje de vino y chocolate con vistas espectaculares y restaurantes 5* que sirven deliciosas cocinas de capa.

La recogida será desde tu hotel en Ciudad del Cabo a las 06:00 a. m., el conductor te estará esperando en el vestíbulo para comenzar tu tour de avistamiento de ballenas de día completo. A su llegada a Hermanus, se le solicitará que firme un formulario de consentimiento, luego habrá una sesión informativa de un patrón calificado con experiencia y una pequeña lección educativa sobre las ballenas. Luego embarcará en un safari marino compartido de 2-3 horas. Tan pronto como se diviertan las ballenas, el patrón detendrá el bote para que todos puedan ver de cerca a estos increíbles leones marinos, tomar fotografías y continuar avistando más ballenas. Después del viaje en barco, los huéspedes regresarán al puerto y se dirigirán a nuestro próximo destino.
Impresionantemente hermosa finca vinícola que sirve vinos icónicos y galardonados del arte de la creación de una variedad de chardonnay y pint noir. Aquí nos detendremos en nuestro camino de regreso de la observación de ballenas para un almuerzo rápido y ligero (por su cuenta) y una degustación de vinos. El precio de la cata de vinos varía de R10-R50. También avise con 24 horas de antelación para las reservas de almuerzo.
En nuestro camino de regreso de Hermanus, nos detendremos en la majestuosa finca vinícola de Spier para degustar vinos y maridar chocolates. Aquí tendrá la oportunidad de degustar los vinos galardonados de la firma Spier, como Cap Clasique, 21 Cables, Seaward y muchos más. También hay una degustación de NIÑOS donde tendrán la oportunidad de degustar jugo de uva que incluye 2 jugos de uva diferentes y una hoja de actividades educativas.
Después de la visita a Spier Winelands, regresaremos a Ciudad del Cabo para dejarlo en el hotel.

What I loved most is that this tour doesn’t feel touristy. Small group, max 14 people in our van. The driver/guide knew both the ocean and the wine farms well, so we weren’t just being shuttled around. Back in Cape Town by 6pm, tired but happy. It’s a long day - 10+ hours - so wear comfy shoes and bring a jacket for the boat. But if you only have one day outside the city, this is it. You see Hermanus, you see whales, you taste real Cape wines, and you learn a bit of SA history between stops. 100% worth the money if you want nature + luxury in one trip.

What a phenomenal trip! Our driver, Callixte was brilliant - helpful, knowledgeable and personable. The whale watching experience was once in a lifetime and the guides on the boat made it extra special with their knowledge of the whales and explanations of the conservation work which has been and is being undertaken to protect them. The wine tour was also magnificent at the Spier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. Highly recommend for a day trip while in Cape Town.
