Itinerario
Submarino USS Bowfin (Adm. Incl.)

For Pearl Harbor experience the directions need to be a little more clear and explained out that you do not get a tour guide, you get a packet of paper and you're on your own And the time on the paper is for that one show we didn’t know until afternoon and we had to sign up on a wait list to be able to go to it
Aloha, Mahalo for your valuable feedback. We’re very sorry for the confusion regarding the Pearl Harbor experience and how the instructions were communicated. We understand how frustrating it must have been not knowing that the visit is self-guided and that the time on the ticket applies specifically to the Arizona Memorial program. Your comments about clearer directions and expectations are greatly appreciated, and we will work on improving our communication so future guests are better informed ahead of time. Mahalo again for bringing this to our attention. 🌺
Well worth the investment! The tour guides knew their stuff and answered all questions! The men and women that volunteer at each location warmed my heart and it reminded me of how incredible it is to be an American!
Aloha! 🌺 Mahalo nui loa for your heartfelt review! We’re thrilled to hear that the tour was well worth it and that our guides and the volunteers at each location made such a meaningful impact 🤙 It’s wonderful that the experience reminded you of the incredible history and spirit of the places you visited. We hope to welcome you back to Hawaiʻi for more unforgettable adventures soon! 🌈
Need to allow more time to stay at the Pearl Harbor Site. Our return flight to Maui was 8:15, they dropped us off at the airport at 3:15!!!! Luckily, we were able to re-schedule on an earlier flight, if not, we would have had a 5 hour delay, not good!!!
Aloha, Mahalo for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the timing issues with your Pearl Harbor visit and airport drop-off. We understand how important it is to have enough time at such a meaningful site and to make your flight without stress. Your feedback is very important, and we’ll review our scheduling to ensure future tours allow sufficient time for Pearl Harbor and timely airport drop-offs. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll give us another chance to provide a smoother, more seamless experience in Hawaiʻi. 🌺
We had an early flight from Maui in am which was expected, however they dropped us back at the airport at 5pm and they scheduled our flight for 9pm. That was poor planning on their part. Pearl harbour was Awesome, you do that on your own. The vehicle we were transported in had very poor air conditioning .
Aloha, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your visit to Pearl Harbor, but we’re sorry the return schedule and vehicle comfort didn’t meet your expectations. The flight you received was the only one available for that day, as interisland flight times are limited and often fill up quickly. We truly appreciate your understanding and will share your comments with our team to help improve future experiences. Mahalo for joining us. 🌺
The tour company provided transportation from Maui and back. After flying from Maui to Honolulu the instructions on where to meet were not clear and needed to call company several times. The bus ride to Pearl Harbor was nothing special. Didn’t find out until arrived at Pearl Harbor that absolutely No bags allowed- except that once inside saw that there were plenty of women with clear handbags. Felt like when we got to pearl harbor the driver could not get rid of us soon enough. Thought they were doing a tour but not. Everything was self guided. For the price of the tour ($500) it would probably easy to by airfare with Southwest and get a taxi to Pearl Harbor and save quite a bit
Aloha, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the confusion you experienced and that the tour did not meet your expectations. We do want to note that the no bag policy at Pearl Harbor is clearly stated in our confirmation information to help guests prepare, as it is a National Park Service regulation. Only small, clear bags are permitted through security. We will also review our meeting instructions and driver communication to make sure they are as clear and welcoming as possible. Your comments are valuable to us, and we’ll use them to improve the guest experience moving forward. Mahalo
Driver was very good and knowledgeable. The tour was interesting and enjoyable. However, my only critique is the downtown portion. It feels rushed especially with traffic and I was wondering if it was just removed and add a museum closer to the first half of tour. Again, we did like our driver and the tour
aloha! mahalo nui loa for taking the time to leave us a review. we will pass this along to your tour guide and the rest of the family. we hope you have an awesome time in Hawaii. see you next time.
Need better communication with travelers. We ran late because the buses were so busy. Our tour guide left us I understand that we were late but he never reached out to us. We had to take a taxi back to the airport. Receptionist needs better customer service skills she sucked.

Great opportunity to see and experience a part of our collective history made all the better by our outstanding tour guide, Ariel. His knowledge of the topic was unsurpassed and he kept it lively and exciting. We truly felt like part of his family!
Aloha! Mahalo for your fantastic review! We’re so glad to hear that you had such a great experience with Ariel. His passion and deep knowledge really bring history to life, and it’s wonderful that you felt like part of the family during the tour. Thank you for choosing us, and we’d love to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure soon!
The actual tour was quite good with a great tour guide and we saw a lot. The booking process and confirmation information was a bit confusing. I booked through Trip Advisor who books through Viator who books through Aloha Sunshine Tours. Some of the info was contradictory and vague and when I called two different numbers to clarify things, each person was rude. I could have done it all myself and saved money, but overall if you want to see it all and let someone else do the work, it was worth it. I suggest you investigate your options first.
Aloha, We appreciate this feedback. We love what we do and it's hard to imagine you experience rude customer service. I'll definetely bring this up with our staff. Not sure if you actually talked with someone from Viator. Thanks
Trip from Maui to Honolulu for this excursion went smoothly. Found our tour guide quickly and she was very knowledgeable about the entire island of Oahu. Would highly recommend.
Aloha, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate this very much!! Mahalo
