Los huéspedes tienen la rara oportunidad de vestirse, abrir una colmena viva e interactuar directamente con miles de abejas melíferas bajo la guía de un apicultor local. Con tamaños reducidos y un formato totalmente interactivo, cada sesión ofrece una experiencia más personal e inmersiva que los tours tradicionales. No solo aprenderás cómo se hace la miel, sino que participarás en el proceso y cosecharás una muestra directamente de la colmena. Organizada por una operación apícola local de las Caimán, esta experiencia ofrece una conexión única con el entorno natural de la isla que la mayoría de los visitantes nunca ven.

Viaja a un colmenar privado y entra en el mundo de la apicultura en esta experiencia práctica. Después de vestirse con equipo de protección completo, abrirá una colmena viva, observará miles de abejas en el trabajo y aprenderá cómo se produce la miel. Los huéspedes pueden manejar marcos de abejas, detectar diferentes miembros de la colonia y cosechar una muestra de miel fresca directamente del peine. Esta experiencia en grupos pequeños ofrece una oportunidad única para interactuar con una colmena de trabajo en un entorno seguro y guiado. Esto no es un tour pasivo, es una experiencia totalmente interactiva.

- Es muy poco probable. Si bien nuestros trajes para abejas brindan una protección excepcional, no podemos garantizar que sean a prueba de picaduras. Nuestros trajes para abejas ofrecen una protección ventilada de triple capa, que evita que las abejas te alcancen con el aguijón. ¡Tú ganas y las abejas se salvan! – Las abejas melíferas mueren después de picar.

The best excursion I've ever been on. Something very unique and different than other excursions I've done. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the bee's and being able to take a sample of honey home was the absolute best. Highly recommend.

Learned so much about beekeeping! It was a fascinating experience. A tiny bit tough to connect with the proprietor on the day of as he meets you with his truck by a gated roadway. There is no building. This is a hobby business which makes it all the more appealing. Do not miss!

Jamal was super, explained alot about bees that you wonder about but never realized. We were able to partake in honey collection and use of the smokers and why the bees were were swarming. My fiance and I really enjoyed this and would encourage this as a must do.
Such a cool and unique way to start our trip! It was awesome to get to do something that was a little bit unique so much from our tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and patient answered all of our questions. We got to see the bees, including the Queen be up close in personal. Highly recommend!

This is one of the coolest and unique things to do when in Grand Cayman! The bees were so awesome and we learned a ton! Our guide who's also the owner of the apiary was amazing! Super knowledgeable and informative, taught us a lot and answers all the questions! We got to see the bees, interact with them, feed them water, as well as collect some honey! Definitely a highlight of our trip!
The guide was very knowledgeable & friendly - I learned a lot and it was very fun watching the different hives - definitely would recommend if you are looking for an excursion that is unique - the suits worked perfectly and I did not get stung at all
