It's not an entrance ticket to the Coliseum, just an eimersais experience with the glasses in front of the monument. Very interesting. But when I bought I found that came along with the ticket to the entrance. Should be more explained.

It was okay overall. The graphics weren’t what I used to see with another VR in Milan Duomo, and there was a lot of flickering on the screen. However, the story and description were interesting.

We booked tickets for the colosseum in Rome which were cancelled the day before. The reason given was: Why? Unfortunately, your activity provider Ancient and Recent can no longer provide Rome: Colosseum WORLD Tour with AI Guide App & Arena Option on October 26, 2025 at Rome, Italy. They've informed us that this activity cannot be offered due to a blackout in your destination. This is actually a total lie as there are no planned blackouts. Given how late “Ancient and Recent” cancelled our tour it left us no way of booking an alternative as there is no availability. It seems they never had tickets and are clearly over selling. My recommendation would be to book directly with the colosseum and not use Get Your Guide or Ancient and Recent.

In this instance, the cancellation was due to an unexpected operational restriction at the Colosseum beyond our control sometimes referred to as a “blackout” when access to specific areas or time slots is suddenly revoked by the site authorities. We understand how frustrating this can be and sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. We never intentionally oversell or withhold tickets; our tours depend on official availability provided directly by the Colosseum management. When such changes occur last-minute, we inform our guests as quickly as possible and work with our booking partners, such as GetYourGuide, to ensure a full refund or help reschedule if possible. Great for kids to learn about the colosseum before visiting inside! We didn’t get to do this at the colosseum because there were fears it would rain, so it ended up being a bit different to what we expected but it was ok!
Nice experience to discover the colisee otherwise. This.includes colisee and forum tickets and palatial. Good family. The person who received us was very smiling and very nice

Highly recommended VR experience. We did some other VR in Rome that wasn't great, but this one was great. It transports you back to that time. Highly recommended.
It was only my second time using Virtual Reality. I really enjoyed seeing what the Colloseum looked like originally. I was able to tour it as it was years ago. I thought it was fun and educational.
