Volubilis es una antigua ciudad romana donde se encuentran los restos arqueológicos mejor conservados y más visitados de Marruecos. La zona fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1997. Que ver en Volubilis Si bien lo mejor que puedes hacer es caminar por sus ruinas, hay algunos puntos que no debes perderte: Foro, Basílica y Templo de Júpiter: Ubicados en la parte alta de Volubilis, estos tres lugares eran el centro de la vida pública de la ciudad. Baños termales: Aunque su estado está bastante descuidado, aún se puede apreciar el sistema de calefacción utilizado por los baños termales romanos. Arco de Caracalla: construido en mármol en el año 217 en honor al emperador y su madre. Cuando se construyó, estaba coronado con un carro de bronce. Mosaicos: ¡lo más destacado de tu visita! Los trabajos de Hércules, el baño de las ninfas, el Acróbata ... ¡Encontrar todos estos mosaicos es una tarea difícil sin guía!
Moulay Idriss es uno de los lugares de peregrinación más famosos de Marruecos. Su nombre honra a Idriss I, bisnieto de Mahoma y fundador de la dinastía Idrissides. Debido a su estatus religioso, la ciudad estuvo cerrada a los no musulmanes hasta mediados del siglo XX. Hoy, el único lugar prohibido es el mausoleo de Moulay Idriss. ¿Qué ver en Moulay Idriss? Más tranquilo y más pequeño que su gran vecino Fez, Meknès se siente bastante eclipsado y recibe menos visitantes de lo que debería. Es más relajado con menos molestias, pero todavía tiene todas las calles estrechas y sinuosas de la medina y merece ser una ciudad imperial y un hogar único del sultanato marroquí.

Najim was an amazing driver. He was generous with his time and let us really enjoy all the sites. He even drove us to a Chateau nearby, with wines and a private tour. We could not have asked for a better driver. He was flexible and let us play music. The day flew by because we were having so much fun. If you choose this tour, see if he is available. This excursion was simply amazing! Najim was an excellent driver and was very accommodating. He was extremely patient and never made us feel rushed as we explored. We spent the day visiting three beautiful locations and even added on an excursion to Chateau Roselan for some wine tasting. It was just the right amount of guidance and freedom to explore on our own. Would definitely book again!

My wife and I booked the trip through our hotel. Our driver Najim was the main reason why our trip was great. He took us first to Volubilis and on route stopped at some amazing places for us to enjoy the views and take some stunning photographs. Post visiting Volubilis, we went to Mekenes where we had lunch and Toured the old city by foot. Najim was extremely gracious during the entire trip and made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him if you are travelling as a couple or with family.

We took a day trip from Fes with Icham as our chauffeur. He is a safe driver and a very good tour guide. We laughed a lot together. The tour was very interesting and entertaining.
