Very nice trip. Small group. Guide guy was nice and polite. We step by some village on the vay, apsolutely amaizing beauty. Had a nice lovely day.
So I guess we should've known the "guide" was going to be mostly useless as she went to each and everyone on the bus asking for tips...BEFORE the tour started. This "tour" is basically a transportation service between these sites, and then otherwise you're on your own. And since that was the case, a couple somehow managed to "get lost" at the last site and failed to come back to the bus at the agreed upon time, so everyone else had to sit there and wait for 30 minutes. The sites themselves and the small town are definitely worth seeing, but just not with this "tour" service.
Neuschwanstein Castle is a must see and all worth the travel but pick a different tour. For almost 10-11 hours journey Bus was very congested, 49 people on the bus, no legroom, worst than economy class, no heating in such cold, it was freezing inside the bus. Compulsory Tip was collected in first 5 minutes of the tour started which was very strange. Guide did not give much information except where to get down and come back .. just the basic guidelines. Would visit the place again but with a better tour operator.
Pick up was on time. Drive was smooth but they didn’t heat the bus or the heater was broken. There were a group of Chinese tourists on the bus. The announcements were made both in English and Chinese language. The tour was supposed to be in English only. The tour guide was Chinese and it was a bit hard to understand at times. But she tried her best.
In December 2025, my family of three joined the following tour, which cost us approximately €820: Neuschwanstein, Linderhof Group or Private Tour from Munich Despite being a private tour, we were charged an additional €50 due to a delay caused by a carriage. This has never happened to us before. If it had been a group tour, I could understand the concern about inconveniencing others. But this was a completely private tour. Even so, we were told to pay €50 for supposedly exceeding the time limit. If we had significantly overrun the schedule, I wpuld have understood. But in reality, we finished almost exactly on time. They claimed we were an hour late and demanded a penalty fee. The tour description clearly stated a 10-hour duration (we were picked up around 8:30 AM, so the tour should have ended at 6:30 PM), and the detailed itinerary even said: “Arrive back in Munich at 18:30 and the tour ends.” In fact, we returned to Munich at 18:35, virtually on schedule. We even called to inform them that the horse carriage was delayed and that we would be late for the meeting point. Since it was a private tour, flexibility should have been possible. I truly don’t understand what the issue was. We reluctantly paid the fee to avoid conflict, especially since we were traveling with family, but it was clearly unreasonable. Moreover, we skipped a stop that should have been included after the delay. We were told a bridge was closed, but many tourists were crossing it. Suspiciously, right after the tour ended, we could no longer access the booking details page.It felt like they didn’t want us to leave a review. (This post is based on records we saved from the company’s page just in case.) The tour itself offered almost no explanation or guiding, it was no different from simply being driven to the sites by a taxi. The vehicle was a Tesla Model 3, which is far from a luxury car. Unless you’re desperate to get tickets that are otherwise unavailable, I strongly advise against using this company. Truly a terrible tour operator.
Thank you for providing such detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction you experienced during your private tour. Regarding the 50 EUR additional charge: We have completed an internal investigation and confirmed that this was indeed a calculation error by our guide. To rectify this mistake and express our sincere regret, we have already issued a refund of 60 EUR to you (this includes the 50 EUR charge plus an additional compensation as a gesture of goodwill). We hope this demonstrates how seriously we take guest feedback; we have a zero-tolerance policy toward any unauthorized or incorrect billing. Regarding Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge): We would like to clarify for you and all future travelers that during winter, the local authorities officially close the bridge due to safety hazards caused by snow and ice. While you may see individuals bypassing the barriers, as a licensed and professional tour operator, we are strictly prohibited from leading guests into officially closed areas. Your safety is our absolute priority, and we cannot compromise on official safety regulations under any circumstances. Regarding access to the booking page: We want to assure you that we have no technical means to block guests from accessing their booking details or leaving reviews on third-party platforms like Viator or TripAdvisor. We genuinely welcome all authentic feedback, as it is the essential way for us to improve our services. We hope this refund and our explanation demonstrate our commitment to resolving this matter with integrity. We sincerely wish you and your family better experiences in your future travels.
My well-planned trip to Neuschwanstein Castle was wonderful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating stories. I enjoyed every moment. The views from the castle and Mary's Bridge were absolutely breathtaking, making the entire experience truly unforgettable.
Our visit to Neuschwanstein Castle was a perfect highlight. The itinerary was well-organized, allowing us to fully enjoy both the interior tour and the stunning exterior views. Our guide was exceptionally friendly and informative, sharing fascinating stories that brought the castle's history to life. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially from Marienbrücke. It was a truly memorable and delightful experience.
Awesome one-day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle! Everything was well organized, the guide was super friendly, and the castle was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth it!
My friends and I joined a two-day tour to Neuschwanstein Castle and Königssee. The daily itineraries were well planned and very reasonable. Although the tour guide was Chinese, her English was excellent, and communication was completely smooth. Most importantly, she didn’t just explain the attractions—she also shared a lot about German culture and local customs. Having such a beautiful destination paired with a professional and engaging guide made the trip truly exciting and memorable. If I have the chance in the future, I will definitely sign up again. Thank you to the entire team for all your hard work!
Guide did not have a clue how to direct a tour, caused too many delays due to inexperience, we never got into the castle! Guide barely spoke English and did not have a grasp of the English language at all! He was inept and not prepared at all. We got a 20% refund, REALLY!!! The bus was full, and I know without a doubt everyone on the bus was furious! Shame on Viator for not checking into his background and capabilities.
