Recogida en el lobby de su hotel y traslado a Angkor Thom. Entrarás a la ciudad antigua por su Puerta Sur. En el mismo centro se encuentra el templo de Bayón: testigos silenciosos del tiempo, los 216 rostros enigmáticos miran hacia el horizonte y uno sólo puede preguntarse qué han visto a lo largo de los siglos. Su guía le indicará los mejores ángulos para fotografiar aquí y le dará una explicación de los numerosos tallados intrincados en las paredes de las galerías. Luego continuará hacia Baphuon con su larga calzada y un impresionante Buda reclinado gigante, un rompecabezas que no se volvió a armar hasta 2011, después de una interrupción de 37 años causada por la guerra. Phimeanakas se esconde en la jungla sombreada y ofrece una vista decente por encima de las copas de los árboles a quienes conquistan los empinados escalones hasta la cima. Such a fantastic experience with Chansip. We are a group of 3 friends who came to Siem Reap for only the weekend. Chansip showed us around the temples on the Saturday, explaining the history with great enthusiasm. His professionalism and kindness was appreciated, and the temples were just so amazing! He catered to us (our timings) which we really appreciate. The driver was also very kind, always ready with cold water and cold towels after each temple. Our tour guide Chansip picked us up on time at the hotel with driver. On the way to the ticket office of Ankor Wat, he explained the different ticket purchase options (day ticket, 3 day pass and 1 week). We were provided with fresh cold drinks by the driver during the day tour. Chansip has a great knowledge of the culture, language, history and temple complex of Ankor Wat. He pointed out a lot to us, gave good tips and suggestions for further excursions. He is also a great photographer. Our day-long tour of the Angkor temples with Chansip was one of the best experiences of our Cambodia trip. We enjoyed our tour with Chansip! We went with 2 kids and 3 adults. He had so much great information and really enhanced our time at the temples. We had been told a guide wasn’t needed but we found that having a guide helped us understand the temples better and show us some neat facts. It was also nice to be able to ask questions about life in Cambodia. An added bonus - having a photographer that could take good photos of our group! Silong was an amazing guide and driver! Originally brought us from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with stops along the way. Helped us out with the local language barrier and was fun to tour with. Showed us some amazing local spots outside of the stops we requested. Enjoyed him so much we asked for a tour the next day of the temples which he said yes. The second day was much better with him there. He is very knowledgeable of Cambodian history explaining everything to us along the way. He also knows where to eat great food so be sure to ask for his recommendations. Can't wait to come back and tour with him again.
