Itinerario

We had a fantastic day touring the Connemara loop with Seamus! He arrived promptly with a clean, lovely vehicle and huge smile. Our group was very curious and he eagerly answered all of our questions. Seamus was a wealth of knowledge about the local history and culture, with a load of stories that kept the day light and fun. He curated the tip trip to our exact needs and made sure we had everything required for a memorable day. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed the small villages along the way. I would highly recommend Celtic chauffeurs with Seamus as your guide!
We had such a wonderful day with Seamus from Celtic chauffeurs. He arrived promptly with a lovely clean vehicle and big smile. He was so accommodating and engaging. Our group was very curious and we had lots of questions. Seamus eagerly answered them and was a wealth of knowledge about the Irish history culture with a load of fun stories. He curated the day to our exact wishes. The scenery was gorgeous, and he showed us some great villages and stops. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Seamus as your guide!
For trip adviser: We had such a wonderful time with Anne Marie who showed us around the Connemara region (the sheep farm + kylemore abbey). She was the most accommodating tour guide and constantly checking to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She ensured that we got a chance to feed a lamb which was my sister’s dream coming to Ireland. And she was an absolutely delightful conversationalist. We had a great day because of her and hope to take a tour with her again if we ever return to Ireland (which hopefully we do!)
Peter Rafferty (Raff), the Connemara West Champion of Driving, is an absolute legend and Irish National treasure. He is an absolutely stellar driver and guide. We saw incredible scenery and he is so knowledgeable about every spot we visited. He also knows someone everywhere he goes and is a stranger to no one. He made sure to make our day fun for the kids and even shared ideas for the rest of our trip and spots to visit. (We found the long-eared donkey!)
Peter (Raff) is the best driver guide ever. He goes above and beyond for his clients. Celtic Chauffeur is a superb company. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them for your travels throughout Ireland
Seamus picked us up promptly and we hit the ground running. He immediately gave us lots of information about the history of Galway. I tend to get car sick but he did a nice job driving all the windy roads. The car was very comfortable. His relaxed style and Irish charm was on full display. Not only was he an expert on the places we stopped but he gave us the space to go explore on our own. Overall it was a day to remember and we are grateful for his premium hospitality.
We used this service over two days on a recent trip to Ireland. Our first day was with Raff and the second with Ollie. Both were excellent guides and safe, confident drivers. Our day with Raff was strictly a tour day of Connemara. Our second day with Ollie was a transfer between hotels from Galway to Belfast via the pretty countryside of Sligo. We specified comfortable luxury sedans and drove in late-model Mercedes Benz S-Class both days. The vehicles were equipped with fully-adjustable seats in the back, which added to the comfort. On both days, our drivers texted us the night before to make meeting them more smooth, and both knew that we needed to stop for lunch at a restaurant that featured gluten free food due to an allergy. Both drivers had restaurants in mind that worked well. We would gladly use this service and these drivers again, and we would recommend them to others.
We did two day trips with Seamus as our driver/guide. He was fantastic! The best guide we have had. He knows so much about Ireland and makes it very interesting. We were sad to say goodbye after our second trip. It felt like we were leaving a long time friend. Be sure to ask for him!
We had a lovely time touring the gorgeous and wild landscape of Connemara with Raf, who is quite possibly one of the most personable and knowledgeable guides we've ever had the pleasure to tour with. Even the rain couldn't dampen our fun- we had a great day.
