They contacted us before the tour to confirm our pickup arrangements, which made the whole experience smooth and worry-free. Our skillful driver handled the challenging road conditions in Hustai National Park with great expertise. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared not only fascinating information about the wild horses but also the history of Ulaanbaatar and its buildings as we drove through the city. After the "safari," we enjoyed lunch in the ger of an authentic nomadic family. They were very warm and welcoming. Fortunately, our tour took place during the Naadam Festival. Although it wasn't included in the original itinerary, the guide kindly took us to experience part of the festival, which was a wonderful surprise. Thanks to their professionalism, kindness, and extensive knowledge, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mongolia.
We had a fantastic day with our guide Tugu- he was kind, enthusiastic, well-organized, and very informative. I especially appreciate his passion for his country, which inspired us to share thoughts on many topics about Mongolia! The flow of the day also went smoothly, including one of the most delicious and authentic Mongolian meals cooked just for us by a herder’s family. We are seriously considering to come back for a much longer trip with Tugu in the future!

The scenery was beautiful and I felt Mongolian on the way to Hortay National Park, seeing a lot of livestock. Wild horses and marmots were seen in the park. It was a fun day to have a delicious lunch at home of nomads.
Dear Natsuko, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was an honor to be part of your trip to Mongolia. We wish you many beautiful journeys ahead. Warm regards, Meet Mongolia Team
Zaya spoke good English. The driver was nice too. They stopped for bathroom break whenever we needed. Tour was easy, driving around Hustai park and stopping when there’s horses and animals. The lunch with nomad family was a nice authentic experience as well. Things to keep in mind - 2 hr drive each way, you’re not going to go super close to the horses (because they will run away if you’re too close), and lunch is at a very local nomadic ger so if you’re not used to that you should bring a snack.
Dear Randy, Thank you to you and your family for choosing us as your travel provider. We truly appreciate your kind review and your support. We wish you all the best and many more wonderful trips in the future. Warm regards, Team
This is something I don’t think I would be able to do on my own! The views on the drive were breathtaking and I learned so much thanks to my guide. I was lucky yesterday to see two whole groups of wild horses and a herd of wild deer. Though I got my shoes thoroughly soaked (my fault) my guide made sure I was ok and was very considerate of how I might be feeling. The trip to the nomadic family’s home was such a unique experience. They were kind and hospitable and even let me borrow some shoes as mine were drying near the stove! The meal the host made was so filling and delicious and they really made sure I was enjoying myself. I really really am thankful for this experience, and I can’t recommend it enough to other travelers. Thank you!!

Hustai National Park was absolutely amazing! We are glad we got to experience the beauty of winter and are grateful for the opportunity to visit a nomadic family.

Our day in Hustai with our guide Zaya was one of the most special of our time in Mongolia. We were picked up from our hotel and enjoyed the drive through the expanse of Mongolia to the reserve with our brilliant guide Zaya telling us all we needed to know about Mongolia and the horses we were going to see. Before you get to Hustai you come off the highway and our driver expertly handled the tracks which lead to the park. We were very lucky that we managed to see the horses from not far away straight away and spent a magical few hours in their company just observing these beautiful animals. Our driver and guide Zaya did everything they could to make sure we got as much time as we could with the horses. While they can't guarantee you will see horses as close as we did, the incredible landscape makes it worth it anyway. After this we had lunch with a nomadic family - which we really recommend - the food was fantastic and it felt like a real authentic experience. We even got a chance to help make the food and learn more about the nomadic lifestyle. We can't thank Zaya enough for this once in a lifetime experience - don't miss it if you go to Mongolia.
This was absolutely the highlight of my Mongolian visit. It was a fabulous day where we saw deer, birds, marmot, and of course, the wonderful wild horses. I was picked up from my hotel on time and we drove to Khustai National Park. It's a scenic drive with vast vistas of the steppes. My driver had the vision of a hawk and could spot animals at a great distance. I was able to take great photos of the Takhi. We ate at the visitor center's buffet and then continued to visit a herder's family in their modernized ger. I was treated graciously by the mother and served her handmade food and drink. During the entire day, Zaya, went out of her way to make calls on my behalf to the airlines that misplaced my luggage 5 days before. Unbelievably, she and her husband met the flight bringing my bag to Ulaanbaatar, picked it up, and delivered it to my hotel the next morning. I do not think I have ever met such wonderful, kind people in all my world travels. I would rate this company as A++ or 10 out of 10.
Wonder day spent with the nicest people on earth! We were able to see deer, birds, marmot, and finally the wild horses. We then visited a most gracious herder family for food and drink. I learned about their lives in their peaceful, serene setting.
