We unfortunately had extremely bad weather today. Due to drizzle and heavy fog, one could not notice anything of the otherwise spectacular landscape! The visibility was only 5 m in some cases! In addition, we had to wait about an hour for our driver when we came back! 5 tickets have to be paid additionally: Admission to the national park, 2x cable car, 2x shuttle bus, makes another 50€ p.p. on top. For us it was unfortunately a used day. You should be physically fit as the cable car ends well below the various peaks.
It was a wonderful experience. The local guide was incredibly accommodating. A memorable trip that I can recommend.
I don’t understand how they can sell this as a tour or excursion when it’s basically a person who takes you to the Ticket Center and picks you up. It's an exorbitant price if you have it's accounted that a DiDi would cost you a quarter
Firstly I am so appreciate your feedback , and feel sorry make you feel the price of tour expensive, I think that language problem make the communication difficult as well as bad tour experience, but the price of tour is transparent, even there is clear items before the tour booking , and by the way even you take the Uber driver, the price is more or less same , and kindly remind you that what you booked the service is one whole day car use , maximumly 8-10 hours , but on that day you over use the car even more than 10 hours , nearly 16 hours. So I want to ask you what is the Taxi fee if you use 16 hours ?
It was quite an experience for us all!! We had a very rainy day so our views were sadly not the best but this mountain is a must!! Bruce our driver was so good, he was very accommodating and kind to our needs. His english is so good as well so we had no problem communicating with him. Would recommend him 100%
Hua Shan is a very significant and beautiful mountain. However it is also the most dangerous to climb. The climb from North Peak to Middle Peak was so strenuous and took so long that we didn’t have enough time or energy to get to all the peaks. Recommend knowing your limits before deciding your route and consider the cable car ride. Our driver Bruce is actually a tour guide and would highly recommend him for a tour of a different place because he is very knowledgeable and has excellent English. However the guide/driver does not climb with you. Overall a Huashan is a good place to visit, and hiring a driver is convenient, but there are less expensive ways to go.
Dingyi is amazing ,he is very know about history and interesting not only a driver also a tour guide,he reply email very fast ,thanks for him for the tour ,if you want to travel in Xi'an city ,must contact to him .丁懿(DingYi) here is his contact: Wechat:A18009220086 +86 18009220086 邮箱:xadingyi@163.com
Amazing views and scenery, knowledgeable guide. The advantage of off- season meant less people around so it could be a little quicker.
Bruce (the guide) was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the area and china generally and spoke very good English. Car was great, clean, and on time. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the activity itself which I would not recommend in August, there are just way too many people given it is also the holiday period in china. Was 2h wait to take the cable car up (even though bruce correctly sent us to the cable car with less queue). When doing the hike we were in a constant ‘roadblock’ situation with people jammed all along the trail. Ultimately a scenic mountain but not an enjoyable experience this time of the year (we went on a weekday and not a weekend)
Bruce was an extremely friendly and lovely guide. We were really happy he shared his knowledge about china history with us during the drive. He also helped us with tickets and suggested which itinerary we should do on the mountain, which would definitively take us a lot of time if we did it on our own. We highly recommend you to book a tour with him. You will enjoy the ride.
This is basically a taxi service with a guide that helps buy your tickets and then leaves. This is not a tour of the mountain so please note that. There is much more cheaper ways to get to the mountain from the city. However this is the hassle free way to do it. Came on time for me and picked me up when I wanted can’t fault the service. I paid nearly £250 for this which I feel is pricey but find this a lot when booking solo. This being said this was the best day of my trip. The plank walk is unreal but had to stand in line for over 3 hours to do it. Photos along the way around 20rnb. It’s 30rnb to get on the walk. You can’t get lost as the trials are easily found and landmarked.
