Sigiriya o Sinhagiri es una antigua fortaleza rocosa ubicada en el distrito norteño de Matale, cerca de la ciudad de Dambulla en la provincia central de Sri Lanka. Amazing Private Day Trip from Colombo - Highly Recommended! We booked the Private Day Trip to Sigiriya, Dambulla Cave and National Park Safari. The communication from JK Tours team was excellent before the day - they shared all info about entrance fees and pickup time in advance. Our driver was on time, very friendly and the car was clean with AC and bottled water. Yes it's a long day (11-12 hours) but totally worth it. Sigiriya Rock is breathtaking - the view from the top is unreal. Dambulla Cave Temple was so peaceful with amazing history. The highlight for us was the evening safari at Eco Park - we saw so many wild elephants, peacocks, even monkeys very close. Our jeep driver Santha was great at spotting animals. Driver was flexible and helped us arrange a local guide at Sigiriya. Overall trusted, safe and professional service. If you are in Colombo and have one day free, do this tour. Worth every penny.

Wonderful sigiriya tour with safari organised by operator. It is a private tour. Very affordable and comfortable ride. The driver was very friendly. The team who manages this is kind and helpful. Definitely recommended. Right from pickup to drop at the hotel was smoothly planned and executed.

"A beautiful landmark worth the 3.5 hour journey in each direction. Easy to fill up the day with safari activity if you want to spend money, but I think the sigiriya and the Dambulla cave temple are must sees. Be firm with the ""tour guides"" telling them you're not interested or they'll follow you around and expect a tip afterward. Overall fantastic experience from start to end and you must do this."
It was far too long a journey and couldn’t complete itinerary as ran out of time and delayed getting back to hotel missed dinner to late to eat as driver queued for 45 minutes to fill up car in petrol station wasting our time when he could’ve filed up whilst waiting for us at one of the activities - totally unacceptable!
Amazing tour! Very accommodating and helpful and it was so fun seeing wild elephants and peacocks in park. The safari driver Santha was amazing. So good spotting so many animals and the visiting Sigiriya lions rock.
