Itinerario

The experience was exhaustive and effective thanks to the expertise of our guide FRANCESCA but I was dissatisfied with the refund conditions of the tour operator. In fact, despite having already previously hiked with them, they did not reimburse me the fee of my son and daughter-in-law who could not attend that day due to a sudden illness. I believe that, for health reasons, the 24-hour cancellation rule should not be taken into account. Losing money for two shares is a lot... they should have at least given me a half.
Lovely! Breathes history and art! Beautiful houses, colorful and stylish. Churches with unseen beauty within. A pearl in Europe, a must see in Bulgaria! Recommended!
Plovdiv is a must see when visiting Bulgaria. Simon, my guide, was so knowledgeable on all the history of this beautiful town. Don’t forget to whisper your wish in Milyo’s ear!
The Roman ruins in Plovdiv are wonderful to see but getting there and back may not be worth it, especially if you are over 5'10" tall. The bus -- not much bigger than a van - was small and crowded. The seats are undersized and my knees were up against the seat in front of me with no room to move. We had the bad fortune of going on a rainy day. The hilly cobblestone streets of Old Town were extremely slick and dangerous due to the rain. The streets are treacherous enough without the rain just trying to walk up and down the hills. The advertised 2-hour drive from Sofia is almost doubled because of the ongoing road construction and heavy traffic. We considered taking a train instead of a tour bus but the hotel warned us that the trains are very unreliable in Bulgaria.
The tour with Tuni was very good, he has a lot of knowledge of the history of plovdid and made the morning go very fast and entertaining
We had a wonderful experience. Guide was very friendly and took very good care of us espically the children. He kept us all engaged. He was very considerate to our requests. Definitely worth spending the extra money for a private tour.
Plovdiv is a fascinating place and Poli is an excellent guide (and driver). The tour duration was just about perfect. Poli did a good job helping us manage the heat on the hills of Plovdiv.
Hello, thank you for giving us such a high rate for our tour of Plovdiv. We really appreciate those words. We're also glad to hear you had a great time with our tour guide Polly. We will be happy if you recommend our service to all your friends coming to Sofia. :) Best regards
This excursion was an experience that did not meet our expectations. Despite meeting the requirements to have a guided tour in Spanish (there were more than 4 people), we were not offered the possibility. We were left in Plovdiv with an audio guide (if it can be considered as such, because my mother) and told that we had 3 hours to visit the whole city and eat. This meant picking us up at 14:30 when really the time I put in the tour description was 15:00. Commenting on it, he told us that they had moved up the time to avoid city traffic, which they could have explained earlier and given us a choice (in the end, there was not much traffic and we arrived in Sofia at 17:00 as planned). In the end, seeing that in that time we would not give ourselves time with the "audio guide" to discover Plovdiv, we coupled to the tour in English (which were only 4 people). The English tour was lousy. The guide gave little historical explanation, did not transmit the information or seem to show interest in the city or what he was telling us. We didn’t know anything and in the end we left Plovdiv without knowing her. I feel sorry because this city looked very good, with many curiosities and history, but our tour could not teach it well.
Hello, The guided tour in Spanish is offered on Thursday and Saturday and this is clearly written in the booking platform. You have booked the tour for Wednesday, when the available options are for transportation and audio guide, so in this case you do not have the right to complain that the tour was not in Spanish. About the ‘shorten’ stay in Plovdiv – this was indeed a mistake of the guide, who was a new one – here we agree with your remark and we have talked with him about this issue not to happen again in the future. Regards,
We had a great day in Plovdiv. Our driver/guide was excellent. He gave an informative introduction to the city & its history exactly to our request. With this information we then enjoyed free time exploring at our leisure. His driving was excellent. A beautiful city and tour.

My wife and I, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, spent this summer visiting the beautiful Balkan countries, checking off a significant item from our bucket list. Our final destination was Sofia, Bulgaria, where we embarked on a day tour to the ancient town of Plovdiv. Jordan, our tour guide, greeted us outside our hotel with a big smile and a towering presence, standing over 6 feet tall, making him hard to miss. Throughout the tour, Jordan’s extensive knowledge of history and local details greatly enriched our experience. His passion for the region’s culture and history was evident in every story he shared. We highly recommend taking a tour with Jordan for anyone looking to explore this remarkable area.
