We had an awesome day at Petra with Jordan Echo Tours. Our driver, Kalid, was knowledgeable, knew the area well, was able to give us a better experience by taking shortcuts and using back roads that got us to Petra quicker while connecting us with interesting people and sites along the way. Petra was amazing as promised. We were thankful for the EV golf cart ride to the main section of the expansive site and the local guide who gave us so much great information, took pictures for us, and enhanced our time immensely with his knowledge and understanding. The meal, that was part of the tour, was a delightful culinary experience. I highly recommend using Tripadvisor and their local subsidiaries. We will look for their services in other locations as we travel.
We booked a private tour for 10 to Petra. It was perfect! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and it was way better than going on a huge bus with 40 other folks. Mohamed was the perfect guide and our driver was excellent. We even stopped to buy fresh watermelon along the way and shared it with fellow travelers at the rest stop. A perfect day and we recommend Jordan Echo Tours to everyone!
Excellent day tour to Petra from Aqaba. Easy and efficient booking process, comfortable mini van for our group of 4 to complete the 3 hour journey each way. We got to Petra before the big crowds and our guide was waiting for us. Amazing place and worth paying for a private guide to get a much more personalised experience. We are not happy at all and are requesting a partial refund of the $850 we paid. For starters the driver didn’t turn up on time and we had to put our phone on roaming and ring the Amman office to ask where our driver was. Another driver there at the port felt sorry for us and spoke to the Amman office on our behalf. On the way back out of Petra He made us wait in the heat while he was in the car talking to some friends. He wanted us to pay for lunch even though that was included in the deal. He stopped at two souvenir shops one on the way back even though I didn’t want to stop at that time. Hi English was very limited. I couldn’t recommend Viator to anyone else and don’t plan to book any more Viator tours because of this experience
No words to all the work but most of all ''love'' that Eslam and Ali gave t us. We could not ask for a better tour organizer , Eslam, or a better guide Ali, we were so lucky to find you two. They make our viit to Petra the best tour of our lives, Petra is really amazing, but I'm sure it is even better with this tour. If you need a tour to Petra go with them you won't regret.
It was a memorable experience, we enjoyed it a lot. The van was quite old and the driver quite in a rush, but nevertheless the guide Maze made it to be fun.
We were picked up by taxi from our Hyatt hotel in Aquaba by Khalid from Echo tours and taken to Petra. The tour was brilliant, Khalid our driver was fantastic and a very safe and competent driver. The roads in Jordan are pretty poor and the other road users are lunatics, so to be driven around by a competent (ex-police) driver was a relief and very reassuring. Khalid was funny, considerate and helpful, and we really enjoyed his company while travelling to and from the destinations. We would recommend this tour and the Wadi-Rum tour as well run by Echo tours.
Muhammad is an excellent guide, he took care of everything we needed. The trip was wonderful. In addition he took us for another walk in Wadi Ram and a walk around Aqaba and the markets.
We found Echo Tours office during looking map of Jordan in Aqaba city, and we found there perfect service. They offered us map, advised us how to get by rental car to Wadi Rum, where to buy a Jordan internet SIM card, they arranged for us perfect and professional Wadi Rum tour guide and were so nice and friendly with perfect English 👍🏻 I can really recommend Echo Tours in Aqaba 😊
Our driver met us at the cruise ship port and took us to Petra. He turned us over to the local guide who showed us everything in Petra. He had detailed in depth knowledge of the site and shared it all with us. He took many photos of us during or tour. We walked about 9 miles by the time we walked back up to the top. What fantastic memories. Beware of the horse carriages and the horse back rides are not FREE.
