Excursión privada de un día a los lagos de Plitvice

We had an absolutely perfect day at Plitvice Lakes National Park thanks to our incredible guide, Olga! She picked us up just outside the city walls near our hotel in Zadar and arrived with a cooler full of snacks, fruit, sandwiches, and drinks for the journey. The two-hour drive flew by as we enjoyed getting to know her and learning more about Croatia. Once we arrived, we set out to explore one of the park’s longer routes, covering about 7 miles and taking in both the Upper and Lower Lakes. We walked along the famous wooden boardwalks, surrounded by stunning turquoise lakes, crystal-clear water, and countless cascading waterfalls. One of the most amazing parts of the experience was walking directly over the water and alongside the rushing falls. After stopping for lunch, we continued along a quieter trail that followed the lakes, where there were very few other visitors. The peaceful scenery and sounds of nature made this portion of the hike especially memorable. We eventually reached the boat dock, enjoyed a short boat ride across the lake, and then took the shuttle bus back toward the Lower Lakes. Every moment felt magical. Photos simply cannot capture the beauty, colors, and sounds of this extraordinary place. Olga went above and beyond throughout the entire day. She shared fascinating information about the park, its history, wildlife, and ecosystem, while also taking countless photos and videos for us so we could fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Her knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made the day even more special. She is truly one of the best guides we have ever had. Spending the day with Olga felt less like a guided tour and more like exploring with a good friend. We loved every minute of this experience and would highly recommend both Plitvice Lakes National Park and Olga to anyone visiting Croatia!

First things first: The trip was an absolute experience. The very nice guide Olga picked us up by bus. She had snacks and drinks for us. On the way she told us a lot about the country. Everything went smoothly. The hike was beautiful and Olga knew the most beautiful places. Even the subsequent food was delicious and well organized. The excursion was a nice change in our 14 day holiday.
