La Gran Muralla Mutianyu se considera la sección más bella de Beijing, parte de toda la Gran Muralla China. Ubicado en el condado de Huairou, a 72 kilómetros al noreste de Beijing, se encuentra frente a la Gran Muralla de Badaling, conectado con el Paso Juyongguan en el oeste y la Puerta de Gubeikou en el este. Toda la zona es como un jardín en la cima de una montaña. Existen abundantes manantiales naturales que alimentan una gran variedad de plantas y árboles frutales, manteniendo el aire fresco durante todo el año. La belleza escénica es excelente especialmente en primavera y otoño. Tomará el teleférico de ida y vuelta para subir y bajar y luego caminar hasta la cima. O puedes subir en teleférico y deslizarte hacia abajo. Su guía privado y su conductor lo llevarán a su hotel de regreso al final del recorrido.

Jenny was our guide for the Great Wall and was fantastic! We used this tour company multiple times in China and they were wonderful. We left Beijing at 7am to beat the crowds and by the time we were finished, there were huge lines to go up the cable car (Mutianyu had been closed for several days prior) so we were super happy to go early. We were even able to swing by the water cube and birds nest on the way back. Jenny recommended an acrobatic show (chaoyang) for the end of the day, which we absolutely loved watching, and arranged the tickets. I would not hesitate to use this company again!
Catherin Lu was extremely responsive and arranged every detail of our Great Wall tour perfectly. The tour and driver were both excellent, and we had a wonderful, stress-free experience. If you are planning a private tour, Catherin is definitely the person to contact. Highly recommended!
We had a great experience going to Ming Tombs (Ding Ling) and Great Wall today. Tony is a great tour guide. He managed the trip in a way to minimize waiting time (which is a huge plus on a hot day!). He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended!
Tony is an excellent guide for the day with fluent English and amazing knowledge which he shared during the 90min car journey to Mutianyu Great Wall from airport hotel. He ensured to contact us the evening prior to confirm time we wanted to leave and was punctual in the morning waiting in our hotel reception Tony accompanied us up to the Great Wall on chair lift and shared more information and took photos for us. Then gave us some time to explore the higher parts of the wall. Then we got toboggan ride down. Very busy but leaving a 7.30am was avoiding most of crowd that looked very long lines by time we were leaving at 12.30. Probably 1.5hrs on the Great Wall in total which was enough time, maybe arrange to leave earlier if you want longer time. Tony then took us to enjoy some tea tasting which was refreshingly nice after much climbing on the Great Wall The car was luxury comfort and waited as we went to attractions and lunch. The lunch was very nice (buffet) and opportunity to taste various dishes all of which were very tasty. Definitely recommend the tour with personal guide Tony if he’s available. Thanks Tony for making a great memorable day for us
We had a 13 hour layover in Beijing and decided to do this tour. It was amazing! We were picked up from PEK airport. Our guide, Michael was brilliant, knowledgable, patient and got us through all the great sites and back to the airport on time. The buffet lunch was a nice end to the day. Thank you!
We were picked up by James and his driver at our hotel. James was very friendly and communicated with us providing lots of information regarding the Great Wall and China as we drove. Our daughter loves history and he was able to keep her and us entertained with his knowledge. There were no language barriers. The wall its self is truly amazing. We took the chairlift up and after walking between many towers we reached the toboggan ride down which was a lot of fun. This was a really great day and thank you James.

We enjoyed four separate tours with Catherine Lu Tours and I can't speak highly enough of the company and especially the four guides it provided ( Vivien, Joy, May and Kai). In each case, they turned what could have been a fraught experience into a great one. The thing to remember is that wherever you go in China, especially the Forbidden City and Great Wall, there are masses of people from all over the world with whom you are literally rubbing shoulders or simply being shouldered aside. Having someone to help negotiate the crowd, expedite ticketing, point you in the direction of the best viewing spots as well as organise transport to and from makes a vast difference. Our guides were all subject experts whose knowledge and English language skills added greatly to our understanding of the places we visited which included the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Terracotta Warriors in Xian. Communicating with the company was clear, responsive and straightforward. We found we could customize tours to suit our needs.
