Chengdu es una ciudad muy conocida en el sur de China por los pandas gigantes. La base de pandas de Dujiangyan es otra base de pandas y menos popular situada a unos 60 km de Chengdu. El sistema de riego de Dujiangyan es un patrimonio cultural de la UNESCO que todavía funciona hoy en día para regar la enorme área de la provincia de Sichuan. Este tour privado de un día le permitirá comenzar desde su hotel en el centro de Chengdu hasta la ciudad de Dujiangyan en un agradable automóvil fletado, donde verá cómo se alimentan los lindos pandas gigantes por la mañana. Luego, explorará el fantástico sistema de riego de Dujiangyan con su guía local para conocer su historia y teoría de funcionamiento. Además, el almuerzo chino está incluido. A las 8:00 a. m., lo recogerán en el lobby de su hotel ubicado en el centro de Chengdu, luego tomará aproximadamente una hora en automóvil hasta la base Dujiangyan Panda, que es una base menos popular sin visitantes abarrotados. Es mejor ver a los pandas activos por la mañana durante la hora de comer.
Después del almuerzo, se dirigirá a la famosa presa, Dujiangyan Irrigation System, un enorme proyecto construido originalmente alrededor del año 256 a. C. por el estado de Qin. Ubicado en el afluente del río Min del Yangtze, el sistema fue diseñado para conservar el agua y controlar las inundaciones, y todavía irriga 2,046 millas cuadradas (5,300 kilómetros cuadrados) de tierra en la actualidad. Su guía le explicará cómo la inmensa empresa transformó la cuenca de Sichuan en una región de abundancia mientras eliminaba las inundaciones de las áreas cercanas.

This was a very nice private several hours tour. Bella, our guide did an excellent job. She was very professional and friendly. We went first to the Dujiangyan Panda base which was very nice and not at all crowded. Bella knew quite well were to go, at what time and the best locations to watch the Pandas. After that, she took us to the Water irrigation system. I was a little skeptical to go and see a dam of it turn to be a super interesting experience about a wonderful piece of Engineering but also with the visit of a temple and group of buildings that was awesome. Some of the best pictures from the China trip. At all times, Bella did a great job and was always willing to help. Furthermore, we made the comment about needing to buy a new bag/luggage and in our way back to the hotel we stopped in a market to buy it! That is customer service! The driver was also very polite and professional and the car was very nice and comfortable. Great day watching Pandas and other interesting places, great pictures and very nice and friendly company with Bella! Highly recommended tour!

Had a great and enjoyable day visiting both the Chengdu Panda Base as well as Dujiangyan Water works, our guide Daisy gave us very good introduction of the history and the construction of the water works. We also had a nice lunch of “Cai Huo Ji”.
