Wonderful experience seeing these 2 UNESCO world heritage sites. A must see when in Athens. Our tour guide and driver. Giorgio was very informative. We got picked up on time in a Mercedes sedan. The ride was long but very comfortable and safe.

This day was magical. Dimos became our friend throughout the day. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The locations were so cool. Particularly, Meteora. We have already recommended that location to friends. The car was clean and comfortable. This was a once in a lifetime tour!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Delphi and Meteora Private Day Trip from Athens with Theodores Travel! Our guide for the day was a wonderful gentleman named Patty, and he truly went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. My husband is 85 years old with mobility issues, and I am also disabled. Traveling to historic sites can sometimes be daunting, but Patty made everything incredibly accessible and comfortable for us. Thanks to his attentiveness and care, we were able to fully enjoy and experience these special places without any stress. Not only was he accommodating, but he was also an exceptional guide. Patty explained the history of each site in great detail, and he spoke so clearly that he was incredibly easy to understand. To top off an already perfect day, Patty took us to a special little restaurant at the end of the tour, and the food there was absolutely delicious! If you want a seamless, educational, and deeply caring private tour experience, we cannot recommend Theodores Travel and Patty highly enough. Five stars all the way!

Wonderful full day exploration of important ancient sites. Our guide Paddy was prompt, safe and full of knowledge to share along the way. Great dinner too. Would recommend to anyone visiting Athens who wants to explore outside the city.

What an amazing day! Our private driver (Nikos) picked us up at our hotel right on time. He drove us to Metora, explaining things along the way. Once in Meteora he took us to a number of the monasteries and allowed us as much time as we wanted at each. He also stopped at a number of incredible photo spots. We continued on to Delphi and, again, Nikos allowed us as much time as we wanted. The drive through the mountains was stunning (if you are inclined to be carsick on winding mountain roads, be warned!). Dinner at their private restaurant was very good! On our way back to the hotel, Nikos gave us additional bonus tips for our next day of exploring Athens on our own. I would recommend this to everyone - it was amazing!

Our tour guide Constantine was WONDERFUL! His knowledge and ability to share his love of the antiquities of Greece are second to none. We had a fabulous day touring Delphi and Meteora. We have family and friends who will be visiting Athens, and we will steer them all to Constantine!

Our driver Ozzy was amazing, his history knowledge was enlightened the experience and he was very flexible. Our trip was relaxed despite such a tight schedule. I really recommend the visit to Meteora monasteries, and Delphi.

As retirees, we do not typically rise to the starter's blast of an alarm. And yet we accepted the lure of visiting Meteora and Delphi in a day. We were off at 6 am when Sebastian invited us to take a seat for adventure. It is quite the bite to race from Athens to Vralaam monastery but Sebastian was up for the task. He was capable enough to point out the changes in scenery, the current crops, the difference in topography, and fill us in on the religious history that lead to this region's attraction for the monks. After a leisurely visit thru the incredibly beautiful grounds, precious art, informative museum, and functional areas of monastic life we cruised the scenic outlooks to see the other monasteries that look down from the cliffs. The whole area is geologically fascinating and the mind boggling structures are crafted onto the cliff edges as if nature anticipated their construction. The obligatory pit stop for a gyro, and fries got us back on course and headed toward Thermopylae. This pass around the backside brought perspective to the Greco-Persian wars. The monuments recalled Thespis, the fall of Leonidas, the third and final stage of the battle here where the Persian archers rained arrows down on the remaining warriors. Sebastian's narration kept pace with our journey and was about to reach it's final lap as Delphi came into view. An excellent example for the preservation of antiquities. The museum gave us a solid background for our walk thru the archeological site. This walk through historic treasure gives scale to the history and civic accomplishments of the time. We hit the finish line with dinner of greek salad, dolmes, tzaziki with bread, pastitsio, gemista, and red wine. After a 13 1/2 hour trip Sebastian returned us in a more educated and happily entertained condition. We had a blast!
