Después de un comienzo temprano saliendo de Londres, lo llevaremos a un hermoso paseo por el campo pasando las ciudades de Hungerford y Marlborough en nuestro camino para visitar el círculo de piedra más grande del mundo. En Avebury, no solo te maravillarás con el tamaño del monumento, sino que también tendrás la opción de tocar las piedras antiguas y mejorar todas sus energías sobrenaturales.
Cuando entramos en el condado de Wiltshire, visitamos el encantador pueblo de Lacock. Famosa por su pintoresca belleza, Lacock atrae a visitantes de todo el mundo en busca de rodajes de películas y series de televisión populares, desde Harry Potter hasta Downton Abbey. Su guía turístico le contará la historia de la Abadía, y le indicará Village Lockup y Tithe Barn que hacen que Lacock sea único.
La parada más larga del día en este tour está guardada para la única Ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco en Inglaterra. Como ofrecemos la recogida en el hotel a más de 650 hoteles en el centro de Londres, podemos cambiar la hora de salida a partir de las 07:30 a.m., dependiendo de la ubicación específica de su hotel. A veces hay cierres de carreteras que escapan a nuestro control y que nos impiden acceder a su hotel. En esta situación poco probable, le pediremos que camine o use el transporte local para encontrarse con su conductor / guía en un destino previamente acordado. Busque su guía fuera del hotel 5 minutos antes de la hora de salida. A veces, su camioneta turística no podrá estacionar directamente fuera de su hotel, dependiendo de la calle en la que se encuentre. Our tour guide, WILL SHIPLEY, was absolutely FANTASTIC. Will made for an AMAZING day & we created many incredible memories to take back to the USA. Will spent every minute sharing historical antidotes and British history with us. The tour was fast-paced, lively & tremendous FUN! We had an amazing time on our tour of Avebury, Bath, and the Cotswolds with our tour guide, Christian. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited and kept us entertained throughout the day with interesting tidbits about the sites along our drive. He was a conscientious driver, and the ride was very comfortable as we took in the English countryside. I would highly recommend one of Tailored Tours trips!
Oz was so professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and accommodating to our requests to stop and use the toilets. He took us to some special places that we would not be able to find in our own and he helped make our trip very memorable. Robert the driver was also very polite and was a very good driver.
We were picked up at our hotel in London on time by Christian Mulcahy in his very nice comfortable van. Christian is a very knowledgeable, smart, funny, and wonderful guide. He went way beyond excellent to make sure we saw more than the typical tourist sites. We had a wonderful time. Our guide was very helpful and informative. He took us to places that were a little less known and places that buses could not get into. We really enjoyed having a guide just for our family because we were able to have our questions answered and our guide was willing to show us a few places that were specific to our interests.
Our family of 4 were very lucky to have been able to get Oz as our private guide and driver for a day trip out of London so close to Christmas Day. Oz was very professional yet friendly. His knowledge of the history of the places we visited kept us engaged during the drive and made it so much more meaningful when we visited the places to see for ourselves. Arrangements for the tour were easily done through whatsapp prior to the day. The tour was entirely at our own pace. Oz planned the itinerary well to make the most out of our day without us feeling rushed in any way. The vehicle was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was definitely a good break from all the walking we did when touring London by foot. Thank you Oz!
Our guide Oz. Was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the area. This added so much to our day trip. All stops were very good. We liked the small villages we drove through, the country side was very pretty. Avebury was very interesting.
There were 15 of us in two vans and we spent the day with Oz and Nick. They were both amazing guides, sharing interesting and unusual facts and stories on the drive and at our destinations. They were flexible (you kind of have to be when there are 15 friends traveling together!) and so much fun to be around. If I go back to London I would absolutely use them again for another tour!
