Salga en un corto trayecto en coche a la aldea pesquera de Kampong Phluk. Disfrutarás de vistas al campo, un templo budista y una escuela primaria, y visitarás el mercado del pueblo para ver la vida cotidiana de los aldeanos. Luego haga un breve crucero en barco por el pueblo de pescadores y los manglares hasta el hermoso lago Tonle Sap, el segundo lago de agua dulce más grande del mundo. Nos detendremos en una casa flotante para ver los alrededores del paisaje. A continuación, paseará por el pueblo para ver las actividades diarias de los aldeanos allí. Verás las Casas construidas con zancos altos, los niños están jugando, la gente está cocinando y otras actividades espontáneas. Esta vida tradicional del pueblo ha permanecido prácticamente inalterada durante siglos. Es el mercado jemer más antiguo de esa zona y una visita obligada para aquellos que buscan experimentar el estilo de vida local.
Kampong Phlouk es un gran destino para que los turistas visiten los manglares y bosques inundados y los pueblos flotantes. Visite el hermoso Tonle Sap, el lago es el segundo lago de agua dulce más grande del mundo. Este lago es el alma del país y la principal fuente de pescado y proteínas para la mayor parte de la población camboyana. Visita el bosque inundado y los pueblos flotantes. Verá un pueblo de pescadores flotante que se mueve a medida que el nivel del agua sube y baja durante el año. Su guía local le explicará los estilos de vida y trabajos diarios de un local que vive en la tierra y el agua. En el camino, harás una parada en algunos lugares para explorar los pueblos locales a pie, conocer y hablar con la gente local.
La comunidad depende en gran medida de la pesca para sobrevivir, principalmente del camarón, y pasa la temporada de lluvias en Camboya pescando. The trip was really interesting. As well as the village, we visited a local market and had a boat ride on the lake, visiting a crocodile farm. Our guide told us lots about Cambodia, local life and the importance of the lake to the 1.3 million people who live around it. I would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent tour with Arun as a guide. Extremely informative. Pick up from hotel was smooth and on time, car was great and the stops on the way at local small town markets, a great insight. The stilt village and boat trip exceeded expectations.

We made a late booking just evening before the morning tour. Were very happy to have an available slot. Website booking was easy and confirmation was clear. Pickup from hotel was fussfree and very punctual. Our guide: Mr Sim Sokoan was very patient and thorough. He explained clearly what the half day trip was and the timings to expect. The trip is really value for money. This was one of the most reasonable rates, and we were so surprised that it was a private tour for only 2 of us! The private tour was fantastic. The tour guide speaks fluent english and tells a lot of interesting facts. We could ask him anything about Cambodia. There were no other tourists at the local market. We tasted different types of fruit. In the tuktuk was free cool water. The floated village was very beautifull and it was interesting to walk around the not floated part aswell. Highly recommend.
