Experimente la mejor cata de vinos en tres de las mejores fincas vinícolas en este tour privado de medio día de Winelands desde Ciudad del Cabo a Paarl y Stellenbosch con un guía / conductor personal en un vehículo privado. Disfrute de una cata de queso y vino en Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate, Biltong y una cata de vino en Marianne Wine Estate y una cata de vino en Babylonstoren. Termine el día con un recorrido de orientación por la ciudad de Stellenbosch, la segunda ciudad más antigua de Sudáfrica y hogar de más de 200 bodegas. Poco después de recogerlo en su alojamiento en Ciudad del Cabo, conduciremos por la carretera nacional N1 hacia la finca Fairview Wine and Cheese.
A nuestra llegada a la finca Fairview Wine and Cheese, su guía turístico lo acompañará al área de degustación de vinos. Deambulando entre los 4 módulos de degustación de vinos y el delicioso Deli de quesos y condimentos, tendrá la oportunidad de probar seis de los mejores vinos y quesos producidos en esta región. Vino y queso están disponibles para su compra.
Conducimos una corta distancia hasta Babylonstoren. Con el telón de fondo de las montañas Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof y Franschhoek, Babylonstoren es una de las fincas vinícolas más hermosas de Cape Winelands. La finca cuenta con un huerto de frutas y verduras y un restaurante de granja a mesa llamado Babel (es imprescindible reservar). Hay otros dos restaurantes en la finca, Greenhouse y the Bakery. Greenhouse sirve almuerzos y refrigerios estilo picnic, mientras que Bakery sirve cenas informales. Pasamos 1 hora en un viaje de cata de vinos de 3 o 7 de los mejores vinos disponibles para comprar en Babylonstoren.
Nuestra última parada en una finca vinícola será en Marianne Wine Estate. Marianne produce algunas de las mejores variedades de vino tinto de Sudáfrica. Aquí disfrutaremos de una cata de vinos y biltong. Marianne cree que el biltong (carne seca) realza los sabores del vino que produce. El vino Floreal de Marianne fue seleccionado personalmente por el chef Gordon Ramsey para el 90 cumpleaños de Nelson Mandela en el Palacio de Buckingham.
Realizamos un recorrido panorámico por Dorp Street en la ciudad de Stellenbosch, la segunda ciudad más antigua de Sudáfrica, en un recorrido de orientación en automóvil. Vea las históricas casas de estilo holandés del Cabo y la famosa Universidad Stellenbosch.
Desde allí, regresamos a Ciudad del Cabo para dejarlo en su alojamiento entre las 14:00 y las 14:30 p.m.

Gordon was an amazing tour guide and took us to some of the best wineries in Stellenbosch. We did not feel rushed and we were able to really soak in the experience. I highly recommend this half day tour if you’re looking to get out of the city and see some beautiful landscapes nearby.

We LOVED our tour guide, Ray who was so professional and informative, and the wine venues, themselves, were great. Viator, however, isn’t to be trusted with scheduling. We’ve only used them twice, in two different parts of the world, and they botched our schedules, both times. Go direct with local tour guides and bypass Viator if at all possible.

We had a wonderful day with our private driver- It was a last minute booking and the driver Thomas was so kind and fun! Very knowlegeable about wines and the area. He chose 3 different wineries - each had food (usually to purchase) and a lovely tasting. He would make sure that they would seat us right away by communicating with those in charge. I highly recommend this trip!

We visited 2 estates, Demorgenzen and Marianne. Both were pleasant and picturesque. Reagan was our friendly& well versed guide&driver, he shares some knowledge and history of the estates and we will definitely be back to visit more farms and ask for him by name.

We had the best day visiting Stellenbosch. Reagan was the best guide, with excellent local knowledge and kept us laughing throughout. We went to Demorganzan and marianne winery’s with a lovely stop off in Stellenbosch town in between, visiting the local museum. It was a perfect day out, with the nicest guide we could have asked for. Would highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Reagan!
