Durante este recorrido se alternan diferentes paisajes a lo largo del camino haciendo más placentero el recorrido. El mejor anticipo de lo que le espera en Mostar es una visita a Počitelj, el pequeño asentamiento en la margen izquierda del río Neretva, a 30 km de Mostar. Hoy en día es más bien una ciudad-museo, pero fue un importante centro cultural en los siglos pasados. Su muralla defensiva y sus torres, aunque parcialmente conservadas, siguen siendo muy impresionantes y vale la pena explorarlas. Después de la pausa en Počitelj, la siguiente parada es Mostar. En Mostar te sentirás como si estuvieras en el exótico Oriente, pero no es nada extraño si tenemos en cuenta que Mostar estuvo bajo dominio turco durante siglos. También es conocido como un lugar donde Oriente se encuentra con Occidente. La experiencia de Mostar no estará completa sin disfrutar de una comida tradicional en uno de los restaurantes locales. La última parada de nuestro recorrido serán las maravillosas Cataratas de Kravica, el llamado "Oasis en la piedra", y está protegido por el estado como una rareza natural.

Conduzca por la costa del Adriático después de que lo recojan en su hotel. Gire hacia el interior a través del pintoresco delta del río Neretva hasta Pocitelj. La ciudad fortaleza Pocitelj es un ejemplo bien conservado de arquitectura oriental situada en la ladera de una colina sobre el río.
A lo largo de los siglos, Mostar y la región fueron el lugar de encuentro de culturas y religiones que dejaron huellas claramente visibles en la actualidad. Mostar lleva el nombre de los guardianes del puente (Mostari) que custodiaban el Puente Viejo sobre el río Neretva.

Ivo was extremely kind and a wonderful driver. We had a few people in our party with mobility issues, and he was extremely attentive making sure everyone was taken care of. Mostar was lovely, although be sure to bring cash (Euros are fine) as most shops and restaurants do not accept cards in Mostar.

Niko was a perfect driver. He speaks excellent English. He drives late model well maintained car. He knows all the border crossings and found one with no delay. This can be a big issue if you get stuck behind tour buses. Niko was very knowledgeable about the history of the region , and although he is not a guide, he prepared us well for what we would see in Mostar and also gave us a good recommendation for a restaurant for lunch. Al in all a very enjoyable day!

At the suggestion of our hotel we used this service for a day trip to Mostar and Medjugorje! Our driver Dennis was fantastic!!! He was a wealth of knowledge regarding Croatia and the sharing of his life experiences from the war made the trip even more special! He made both stops easy on us and was very flexible. After Mostar he took us for lunch to a winery in Bosnia that was excellent!!! This company also arranged a private local guide for us in Mostar and he did a great job as well.
We had fun - Mostar tour was great, local guide (Mirna) was terrific - our driver/guide Denis was very personable - one suggestion, go to waterfalls first because crowds were bad in the afternoon
I booked this trip for my mother in law to be able to go back to the town where her grandfather came from. I will be honest and say I was nervous about the trip. I was nervous if that region was safe, if I had chosen a reputable company, what would the border crossing be like, and whether or not we can make it back to our cruise ship in time. From the moment we booked, the communition with Niko was great. He always responded in a timely manner and answered all of our questions. Our driver, Denis, put us all of my worries at ease the moment we met him. He was an extremely kind person with a wealth of knowledge on his country. You can tell he loved his country and was very proud of it. He has an interesting story and we enjoyed hearing so much from him. He even made sure to include our teen and young adult child in the conversations and helped to keep everyone engaged. Plus the car we got picked up in was very clean and had great air conditioning! Denis got us to Mostar and passed us off to Dino, a Mostar guide. Dino was extremely knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information to us about Mostar. He was great! Dino took us to the restaurant that Denis booked for us for lunch. It was amazing. We had a view of the Mostar bridge and even got to witness some jumpers. It was beautiful and the food was delicious! The restaurant was called Urban. I never once felt unsafe. Denis did an excellent job of getting us across the borders and most importantly he got us back to the ship with a minute to spare! We were the last ones to the ship and laughed about it but thanks to Denis amd Dino we had an amazing time! I highly recommend this tour and these guides. These were some of the nicest people we met on our travels that went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience we came for.
