Amazing tour, smooth transportation for the trains and getting around the city. Stopped at a lot of interesting spots and had great food. Alessandro was an amazing guide with a cheerful and friendly personality and gave us a stellar adventure throughout the city. We have done many tours in this is one of the best. Great for families as he talked with everyone including the teenagers.
We decided at the last minute to get a guide for our day in Malmo. And we are thrilled that we did. Leslye our guide was fantastic! She was so proud of her City and took us to both historical and current landmarks that really helped us get a sense of Malmo. Her enthusiasm was contagious and it's wonderful to see someone so knowledgeable about their City. We easily connected and she even helped us find some excellent chocolate. Highly recommend
Grazi was fantastic! She was extremely friendly, warm and enthusiastic as well as being extremely knowledgable about everything you need to know regrading Scandinavia (culture, history etc.) My teenage children also enjoyed the tour very much. We will highly recommend her. The walking tour was perfect. Well done Grazi!
A day trip to Malmo is so worth it! We took a private tour with Alessandro, who was amazing and gave us a thorough insider view to Malmo. Despite a day of misty rains and lots of walking on cobblestones, we saw a lot of what makes Malmo a unique wonder. We visited St Peter’s Church, walked through historic parks and cemeteries, saw the Turning Torso, visited the Malmo Castle, and explored historic parts of Malmo. Alessandro was so personable, addressed all of our questions, and had us in stitches laughing. He shared a lot of history. We enjoyed his company and truly felt like he was just one of our crew! We highly recommend this tour and that you ask for Alessandro. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!
Lesley was nothing short of amazing. She gave us a true insiders tour of Malmo! We saw amazing architecture, learned some wonderful history, had a fantastic lunch, got to visit some of the recent developments in Malmo, and had nothing short of a perfect day. We got a tour of St Peter’s Church which was beautiful. The murals and altar and interior are well worth your time to see this amazing Swedish church. We walked through Malmo Castle to see some of the history of this amazing castle place. We also toured some of the oldest parts of the city including the original town square and some of the art galleries that occupy that space. That alone was a real treat, which I cannot recommend enough! We walked around the Turning Torso building and adjacent neighborhood. It was an amazing piece of architecture, a wonderful community, and a fantastic story about the rebirth of the city of Malmo. On top of that, the food was excellent. Lunch of Swedish meatballs and lingonberries and mashed potatoes or schnitzel and potatoes were simply perfect after a good walk. We followed this up with a walk through the park including a stop at the main library. The park was gorgeous and included some beautiful gardens along with a stop for the perfect sweet treat of chocolate cake. We sat indoors in a magical little sunken greenhouse with cafe tables and a low key comfy vibe. The travel was easy and Lesley was amazing. She met us at a convenient location and made sure we were all set both to and from Malmo. I’d you’re in Malmo and looking for a guide? Look no further. Request Lesley and you’ll be in perfect hands!
Lesley was amazing, really enjoyed the day
This tour is educational and fun! We learned so much about the city and enjoyed exploring the historical parts. Our food stops were tasty, and I learned I do actually like licorice! Graziele is knowledgeable, interesting, personable, and willing to share her knowledge. She even managed to squeeze in a few shopping side trips for me to pick up World Cup soccer shirts for grandchildren and gifts at some very beautiful art stores. Absolutely recommend!
Lesley was an exceptional guide. She was so warm and welcoming, and it was evident how much she loves Malmo. She was considerate of our time and we were able to see the entirety of Malmo without feeling rushed. If you have a day to spend this is the way to go.
Our guide Leslie was amazing, we loved her and the City of Malmo by the end of our day. We certainly did not want it to end. We saw sights, heard facts and spent some unforgettable emotions with here as she helped us through the Chapels doing a bit of genealogy history. We have a friend for life!! Highly recommend this tour, was absolutely memorable.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with our guide Lesley. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the culture and history of Malmo and the entire region. We would highly recommend Lesley as a tour guide as well as the tour itself.
