Our guide was nice, chatty, knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. It was a very hot day and he was patient with us and did everything he could to make us comfortable.

We had a truly wonderful time on this trip. Everything ran smoothly and super efficiently, even though it was a very long day! All the sites we visted were amazing - especially Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. Our guide, Dina, was exceptional - knowledgeable, informative, helpful and very pleasant. Unforgetteable!

Dina, our guide, is the real jewel of Egypt! Luxor has truly been the highlight of my husband and I’s trip to Egypt. Dina has a great energy and passion of the history here - and I really appreciated all the information and free time at the sights she provided! She was prepare with tickets and was also kind enough to lend me shade with her umbrella! While the day is busy and hot, every second and dollar spent was beyond worth it! I felt safe and had a great time! If I’m ever back in Egypt I would definitely do this tour again, it was smooth, beautiful, educational, and absolutely memorable! I loved Dina and I loved Luxor! I can’t give a better rating than 5 stars but if I could I would! Our drivers were also prompt clean and smooth.

This is an absolute must-see experience, if you’re short on time, this tour is one of the most efficient and well-organized ways to experience the highlights of Luxor. We covered all the iconic sites, including Temple of Hatshepsut, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple Complex, and the incredible Valley of the Kings, all in one seamless day. The logistics were surprisingly easy, the flights are very short, making it totally doable even on a tight schedule. Our guide was fantastic, balancing informative storytelling with plenty of time to explore, take photos, and really enjoy each site without feeling rushed. If you’re debating whether to go, don’t! This is a 10/10 experience, and if anything, you’ll leave wishing you had planned more time in Luxor.

Remon spent the whole day showing us everything Luxor has to offer. We learned the history and got to see so many wonderful sights. If you only have one day visit Luxor then this is a great option.

Through Viator, I booked a great Luxor Tour with same day flight transport from Cairo for my husband and I. We were picked up at our hotel right on time by Shadi, great & friendly driver!, in a clean, well kept A/C sedan & brought straight to Cairo Airport, which was easy enough to navigate. The flight was only 1 hour & 15 minutes with light snack & drink, no issues & great views of the area/Nile if you have a window seat. Expect 2 rounds of bag check through scanner, shoes off & body search. Pickup was quick by our super knowledgable Tour Guide Remon Romany & our awesome driver, Mr. Nash!!! Local Luxor sites were visited, shopping, boat ride to a lunch spot in a banana farm, as well as great pix with different backgrounds taken, assisted by Remon. He was absolutely attentive to all our needs throughout the sites, our lunch, shopping and after in the drive back to the airport. We had a great time & are super glad we booked a private tour guide instead of a large bus group, as Remon helped us navigate everything important to see, before our flight back to Cairo. It was sweltering, but we managed. ESSENTIALS: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, an UMBRELLA, an electric hand fan with neck strap, water bottle/electrolytes, light backpack, light tshirt & light capri pants & sturdy high impact sneakers /sandals (no flipflops) are a must here to be prepared & stay comfortable. I would recommend family & friends who can handle full day, moderate walking on uneven stone surfaces, staircases & ramps in the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatsheput, etc. Best time is before April, to avoid extreme high temp days.
