La pagoda plateada lleva el nombre de su suelo, que consta de 5000 baldosas plateadas. En el interior alberga un Buda de oro con 9.584 diamantes incrustados. Un templo budista dentro del Palacio Real en Phnom Penh, la Pagoda de Plata es una vista impresionante. Los detalles son notables y la señalización es limitada.
El templo de Wat Phnom es el más importante de todos los templos de Phnom Penh. El templo tiene una estrecha relación con la ciudad capital. Ubicado en la cima de una loma cubierta de árboles de 27 m de altura, Wat Phnom se encuentra en la única "colina" de la ciudad.
El Monumento a la Independencia en Phnom Penh, capital de Camboya, fue construido en 1958 tras la independencia del país de Francia. El destacado Monumento a la Independencia es uno de los lugares más llamativos de Phnom Penh.
El Monumento a Norodom Sihanouk, también llamado Estatua del Rey Padre Norodom Sihanouk, es un monumento que conmemora al ex Rey Norodom Sihanouk ubicado en Phnom Penh, Camboya. La estatua de bronce mide 4,5 metros de altura y se encuentra bajo una estupa de 27 metros de altura en el parque al este del Monumento a la Independencia.
La isla de Koh Chen es popular por su amplio alcance y sus recuerdos de bronce. Cuanto más te acercas al único pueblo de la isla, más fuerte es el sonido que producen los hombres al martillar el bronce caliente.
Este pueblo es famoso por sus productos artesanales de plata pura con artículos como miniaturas de elefantes, cajas adornadas y otros tipos de trabajos en relieve. Los plateros cortan, dan forma y liman láminas de plata con precisión para crear joyas y cucharillas decorativas, entre otros artículos.
La pagoda de Kampong Luong es un lugar de culto y el secretario del museo, que estaba a cargo de la misión, tuvo grandes dificultades para convencer al jefe de la pagoda.
Oudong solía ser la capital de Camboya hace unos cientos de años. Mucha gente local visita aquí para hacer turismo y rezar. En la escalera a la cima de la colina había muchos monos. La vista desde el templo era genial. Hay un mercado cerca de la entrada donde los extranjeros pueden probar comida local especial.

Oudong encaramado en la cima de la montaña consiste en un grupo de estupas y templos. Las tres estupas principales son Damrei Sam Poan, Ang Duong y Mukh Proum. Las estupas de Oudong también se conocen como Chedis en jemer. Constituyen un gran cementerio de los últimos reyes de Camboya.

The tour is nice. 5 stars. But Do not buy any silver items from the local family store. The same products are available at the Royal Palace Shops for a third of the price. This family purchases these items elsewhere and falsely presents them as handmade. They also use children to promote their business and create an illusion of authenticity.

The round was done backwards, which caused the table time to be cancelled. A whole day without eating, but having to climb a lot of steps, is very difficult. Our guide, had a lot of knowledge, but did not speak very loudly, which required a lot of concentration. We saw the accommodation of the female monks, which was very interesting.

I loved the day trip on the outskirt of Phnom Penh. Oudong Mountain and Phnom Baset are remarkable in many ways: the views from atop, the buildings, the recent history. Mr. Tokk was my tour guide with Mr. Mean who drove us around all day safely. I enjoyed speaking with Mr. Tokk who's very knowledgeable and insightful about Buddhism, French colonization, and more modern history. I learned a lot and appreciate the Khmer people even more. We had lunch at a typical Khmer restaurant near Phnom Baset with hammocks and a bamboo hut. We also stopped at a silversmithing business in a village where Muslims and Buddhists live harmoniously. I highly recommend this day trip and both Mr. Tokk and Mean!

The Buddhist temples, homes and education were very eye opening, so full of history and culture. The local markers are something else with all the different bugs and foods they eat.

We took a private tour with Sophea and the driver was Simon. Thanks to them we had a very nice trip. Sophea showed us around the city, took time to explain everything patiently. He described each building of the palace in detail . Was very helpful and encouraging when we climbed the Oudong mountain and told us all about the Pagoda. We did 2 days in Phnom Penh and oudong with Tokk and had a wonderful experience. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of insight into the country’s history. Would definitely recommend their company.
