We had a trip of the lifetime! I would like to thank all the staff who helped us have an Incredible India experience (borrowed the India tourism tagline :)) We visited Jaipur, Agra and Dehli in 5-days. Very briefly, this I what we experienced: 1. I contacted Amin Tours via WhatsApp, but seem to have also received service by Keeper Landwey. I am not sure how they are related, and it seems a bit opaque, but I received good service nonetheless. And negotiated everything over WhatsApp. We received the india E-visa's just fine using the Keeper Landwey contact info. 2. Pickup/drop off at airport was pretty smooth. But don't expect an English speaker at the airport. I contacted the tour operator via WhatsApp for coordination etc. 3. A very good highly-professional driver (Rakesh)- highly skilled in India conditions. Again see s/n 2 on how I communicated with the driver through the tour operator using WhatsApp, if there was no guide present. 4. Four different tour-guides (1 in Jaipur, 2 in/around Agra, 1 in Dehli). 3 were excellent - Kishor, Kashim and Brajesh). 5. Recommendations for lunch/dinner/buying experience by the guides were all excellent. We did expect some sales talks at some of the shops we visited. Par for the course here, and they (the store employees/owners) were all extremely polite. 6. Payment was in USD - around 15% via Vaitor and the rest in USD at the Keeper Landwey shop in Agra 7. I organized my own hotels cos I wanted to be sure what I was getting. *** Feedback for the company (Keeper Landwey/Amin tours) and why this is 4 stars not 5 (and what to be aware of before you travel). 1. The vehicle (7 person MPV) was QUITE TIGHT for the 4 of us. The reasons (i) the trunk space is taken up by a big hump (my guess is that it was a CNG tank) (ii) the driver and the guide occupied 1 seat each during the day tours in each city (iii) We had to fold down 1 seat when there was a guide in the car and so we were holding on to some of our soft bags and hand carries. (iv) the backup plan was to mount the luggage in the roof of the vehicle! I didn't want to do that as I had electronics with me. The upshot is that, although my entire family of 4 are quite slim, the space was v tight/almost uncomfortable. I would recommend not using hard suitcases (we had two small- medium sized ones) and use soft bags instead, and pack light. If you are of a bigger stature (and there are 4 of you), you may need to pack in such a way that you would be willing to mount the bags on the roof of the vehicle, or upgrade the vehicle. 2. The vehicle condition was NOT great. The windshield was cracked (large crack -- about 100 cm or 40 inches.), the interior was very worn and the suspension felt quite worn. The engine, brakes and tires were in decent condition though. Compared to other travel experiences I have had, I would put this vehicle in the bottom 20% of vehicles I have travelled in-- but I still felt safe enough on the long 4-5 hour drives. 3, One of the guides, I felt, didn't advise us correctly (this was in Delhi). and we ended up spending almost 2hours stuck in a tuk tuk and travelled maybe 1-2 km. It was an experience! That said, if the options had been made clearer to us, we would have prioritized seeing different things (e.g. maybe not the mosque). Also I really want to see the Red Fort but was informed on that day it self that it is closed on Mondays. Notwithstanding this feedback, on balance, we had an excellent holiday, and I do really recommend this tour. Thanks!
Feels great reading feedback like yours. Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and balanced review of your journey through Jaipur, Agra, and Delhi. We truly appreciate the effort you put into sharing both the highlights of your experience and the areas where we can improve. We're delighted to hear that Rakesh's professionalism and driving skills helped make your travels comfortable and safe across the different cities. It's also wonderful to know that Kishor, Kashim, and Brajesh contributed so positively to your trip through their knowledge, recommendations, and guidance. Reading that their insights, dining suggestions, and local expertise enhanced your experience means a great deal to us. At the same time, we sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the vehicle space, vehicle condition, and aspects of the Delhi itinerary. Comments like yours are extremely valuable because they help us identify opportunities to improve the experience for future guests. We understand how important comfort is during multi-day journeys, and we will certainly review your observations regarding vehicle capacity and condition. We also acknowledge your point about providing clearer information regarding site schedules and alternative options when attractions are closed or traffic conditions affect the itinerary. Most importantly, we're grateful that despite these challenges, your family left India with wonderful memories and an overall positive impression of the tour. Thank you for placing your trust in us for such an important trip. Thank you for letting others know about your visit.
My father and I were both in India at the same time for work and had the wonderful opportunity to holiday together. Keeper Landwey put together a fabulous itinerary for us and allowed us to customize, even adding during the trip. It felt incredibly personalized and minimal planning on our part - they took care of all the details and reservations. I cannot say enough good things about our driver Sanjay - he went ABOVE and BEYOND to welcome us to India and to help us have an individualized trip. Our city tours were wonderful and gave us great insight into local culture and views - especially Amer in Dehi and Vinod in Jaipur. Would absolutely recommend Keeper Landwey tours for a hassle-free, complete holiday package.
