A las 9 a.m., su guía y conductor privados lo recogerán en su hotel y lo llevarán al área escénica de Wulingyuan, donde se encuentra el Parque Forestal Nacional Zhangjiajie, para visitar sus dos atracciones más clásicas y populares.
Tome un teleférico hasta la montaña Tianzi y verá grandes áreas de picos grotescos que se elevan. Caminando por los escalones se despliegan espectaculares vistas frente a ti desde diferentes ángulos.
Por la tarde, viaja en un autobús público al área escénica de Yuanjiajie, cuyas montañas se dice que son la inspiración para la montaña Aleluya de Avatar. Esta área es la más visitada debido a su fama. Se tarda aproximadamente 1 hora en recorrer los senderos turísticos, antes de tomar el autobús de enlace para el teleférico que baja la montaña. Su viaje finalizará alrededor de las 5 p.m. y lo llevarán de regreso a su hotel en el centro de la ciudad de Zhangjiajie. El traslado a la estación de tren para su tren de salida también es viable.
Hay otra opción para bajar la montaña: Bailong Elevator. Este elevador de vidrio fue construido al costado de un acantilado, y afirma ser el más alto del mundo en su tipo. Solo toma 2 minutos, pero en las horas pico es posible que deba hacer cola una o dos horas para tomarlo. Si está interesado en tomar el elevador, dígale a su guía con anticipación, para que él / ella pueda organizar de antemano para evitar las largas colas.

Horrible service both operationally and customer support. Driver didn’t show up at pick up location even though our train arrived on time. He eventually arrived 30 minutes late. No reason given and Viator refused refund or compensation.

We had the most amazing day in Zhangjiajie. Our guide, Nora, was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She took us through the incredible Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, including the famous “Avatar” mountains, and her knowledge of the area was outstanding. What really made the day special was how she went beyond the typical tourist spots. We explored so many places and viewpoints that we would never have discovered on our own. The itinerary was excellent covering all the major aattractions. Lunch was better than most of those included in tours, full menu, nice ambience. But best of all was our guide May who spoke excellent english, understood all of our questions, and took an interest in our enjoyment . Her pace was just right. She was the best guide we have had in china.

The mountains are breathtaking and a must see. The park is huge with 4 separate regions, various shuttle buses, cable cars, and numerous large tour groups. If traveling independently from abroad, a tour guide is a must. Our tour guide Anna was amazing. She made the visit move along seamlessly and enriched the whole experience with information about the region’s history, culture, and geography. She took us to some “secret spots” with few tourists (which is extremely rare) and amazing views. I traveled with two energetic boys and zoomed through the planned itinerary. Anna was extra generous and took us to a bonus spot in the valley for a walk along a stream. If possible, try to request her!!

It was great experience in over all . The place is awesome must see this nature wonder .. it was very well arranged by the tour company . The pick up was on time planned very well our tour guide was very good . I owe Linda big thank you she did her job excellent & she guided me very well saw to it we don’t get stuck in crowd . Everything you would want it to be and more! I knew nothing about Zhangjiajie, except that my daughter had learned about it in high school and wanted to go. So I booked this excursion blindly and it was fabulous! Wendy was our tour guide and she went above and beyond to make our day great. From hotel pickup to history, and culture of the National park she was right on point. The mountains were beautiful, the cable car was fun, and we had a great day. Wendy took the time to show us some sites that were off the beaten path and was so very patient with all of the pictures we took. She even recommended some things for our next day that was an amazing day as well. Hint: We went at the end of August and had no lines or crowds. We were told the weeks before were crazy crowded.
