Una de las opciones de Bodega en el itinerario. La bodega adopta un enfoque moderno de la elaboración del vino respetando y honrando las técnicas tradicionales de elaboración del vino. La bodega João Portugal Ramos es reconocida por su diversa gama de vinos elaborados tanto con variedades de uva autóctonas portuguesas como con variedades internacionales. Su cartera incluye vinos blancos, como Alvarinho y Verdelho, y tintos, como Touriga Nacional y Syrah.

La Adega Cartuxa debe su nombre al Mosteiro da Cartuxa (Monasterio de la Cartuxa), del siglo XVI, que se encuentra justo al lado de la bodega y forma parte del patrimonio de la Fundación Eugénio de Almeida. Hoy en día, es considerada una de las bodegas más prestigiosas de Portugal. Quinta São José da Pêra Manca es particularmente famosa por sus vinos tintos, que se elaboran con variedades de uva regionales tradicionales como Aragonez, Trincadeira y Alicante Bouschet. Estos vinos son conocidos por sus intensos sabores, excelente estructura y potencial de envejecimiento.
Una de las opciones de Bodega en el itinerario. Ervideira es una de las empresas vitivinícolas seculares de Portugal, dedicada a la elaboración de vino desde 1880. Actualmente cuenta con la cuarta y quinta generación de productores activos. La finca cuenta con un total de 160 hectáreas de viñedo, repartidas por fincas familiares en Vidigueira y Reguengos. Desde el principio, la misión fue crear vinos verdaderamente únicos y exclusivos manteniendo la calidad de los vinos portugueses en el mercado internacional. Guiados por el legado dejado por su bisabuelo, se basan en valores que aúnan tradición e innovación.
Una de las opciones de bodega. La Herdade do Esporão se presenta como una finca llena de historia, productora de vinos de excelente calidad. Las viñas de Esporão están situadas en el corazón de Reguengos de Monsaraz, donde los vinos son más equilibrados y seductores, a la vez vigorosos y agradables, exuberantes y con buen potencial de envejecimiento. Si las viñas son el pulmón de la Herdade do Esporão, la bodega es el corazón que late al ritmo de la vendimia y como resultado del trabajo definido por el calendario y por el equipo de enología.
La Capilla de los Huesos es una atracción única e intrigante. Es una pequeña capilla adosada a la Iglesia de San Francisco (Igreja de São Francisco) y es conocida por su macabra decoración interior. La capilla fue construida en el siglo XVI por monjes franciscanos, con el propósito de transmitir el mensaje de la fugacidad de la vida y la importancia de reflexionar sobre la mortalidad. Las paredes y los pilares de la capilla están completamente cubiertos de huesos humanos, creando una atmósfera bastante espeluznante y sombría. Se cree que los huesos utilizados en la capilla pertenecen a unos 5.000 monjes. Los restos fueron exhumados de los cementerios cercanos debido a la falta de espacio y luego se dispusieron cuidadosamente para formar patrones y diseños intrincados. Las calaveras se utilizan como elementos decorativos, e incluso hay una inscripción espeluznante sobre la entrada que se traduce como "Nosotros, los huesos que estamos aquí, esperamos los tuyos". We made the tour of Évora with the guide José Costa and we had an amazing experience during the tour. We participate in tour and tasting in the wines of Cartuxa and Ervideira. Despite the rainy day, the charm of Évora and the wineries became even more evident. José Carlos was super attentive, kind and helpful in the information about the region and indication of the restaurant Fialho for our lunch. Delicious food and nice Mood. In fact, it was an experience that marked our memory and the cordiality of the attendance made all the difference. Our tour was scheduled to take place the day before. However, as informed by the agency, the driver of the van that would take us to the excuse had a problem, and we were only notified after the agreed departure time. This situation ended up undermining our previously scheduled agenda to explore the cities of the Lisbon region, demanding the reprogramming of our journey's scripts. Meanwhile, the Enterprise ended up solving the problem and indicating José Costa to perform the excuse in a private car, and the inconvenience was overcome by the excellent day and experience that we had unraveled Evora.

A great tour taking in 2 wonderful wineries, visit to a cork factory and a historic site. Didn't think I would enjoy the cork excursion but it was great with knowledgeable and funny guide. Lunch was at a small restaurant with delicious and much more than we needed food Our guide Gibson was terrific, a safe and knowledgeable driver. The company was great managing to add an extra at the last minute Would highly recommend this tour.

Miguel was a wonderful guide/driver for the day. He is from the area and provided a lot of history which we enjoyed, especially his stories of his days at the university in Evora. We were able to see everything we wanted and additional sights based on his recommendation. Great tour!

A Long Tiring Day. Our driver was an hour late for pick up because of Lisbon traffic, we were further delayed getting out of Lisbon because of traffic. We were late for the cork production factory. They had to find a replacement guide to explain cork production. He looked like he just got out of bed and was very sarcastic , bordering on rude. The next stop was a winery and as usual we were late for the tasting. Everything was rushed there. They filled our wine glasses almost to the brim. It looked like they just wanted to get us drunk and out the door. The next stop was a fancy restaurant for lunch. We were late and the servers totally disinterested in us. It too an hour to get a cheese plate appetizer, we finally just gave up on the main course and left. We were then supposed to go to the Chappel of Bones but for not have enough time. Finally at our last wine tasting, Ervideiria we had a fantastic time! We were starving after about 6 hours on the road. They cooked us a meal and we had some great wines. Very friendly staff, this stop basically saved our trip and prevented it from becoming a disaster. The whole day trip was about ten hours. There were four of us, two couples and I would have to say we were disappointed in the overall experience.

Miguel was the guide who escorted my disabled hubby and I for the day. He was very knowledgeable about the area’s history and also had great anecdotes. We have had many private guides over the years but none as considerate and helpful to my husband. Miguel would always make things as easy as possible for him. In addition to feeling like Royalty in his gleaming, purring BMW, Miguel gave us a fantastic day and memory.
