It was rainy on our tour day but our guide, Lauren, did a fantastic job finding things for us to do and see which still included the beautiful cherry blossoms. We could not do our picnic, but she took us to a delicious sushi restaurant that she likes and helped us order our food. Great experience and would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted that despite the rainy weather, Lauren was able to create such a memorable and enjoyable day for you. It’s wonderful that you still got to see the cherry blossoms and even discover a great sushi spot along the way! We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation, it means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you again on another experience in the future!
My tour guide, Seiichi, was amazing. He completely customized the trip as I had some very particular goals, spoke excellent English, and offered a lot of interesting insights and knowledge regarding Tokyo and also Japan as a whole. I needed to get a specific photo for a book I’m working on and Seiichi took a million photos of me and I think it is very likely that the one he took will be used for the book, he was excellent with the camera and took a lot of great photos. I also did a Sakura guided tour in Kyoto with the same company and I did not get as lucky. Seiichi was incredibly communicative both before, during, and after. Seiichi is very well-traveled and a very warm person who was fun to hang out with. I would definitely hire him again the next time I’m in Tokyo.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear that Seiichi made such a positive impact on your time in Tokyo, customizing the experience to meet your goals and even helping you capture that all-important photo for your book. It’s wonderful to know his communication, insight, and warmth made the experience so memorable. We’re sorry to hear your Kyoto experience didn’t quite match the same level, but we truly appreciate your kind words about Seiichi and hope to welcome you back again for more meaningful adventures!
The experience of having a picknick under the Sakura trees was amazing and Marc did a fantastic job securing a spot for us. However, this tour is extremely overpriced. To pay more than 400 euro for a lunch is just tooo much and we even had to pay for our own metro-tickets. Big fail for Viator, but would hire Marc back privately without a doubt!
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience under the Sakura trees with Marc. We understand your concerns about the pricing and will take your feedback into consideration for future improvements. Should you decide to explore more privately with Marc, we'd be thrilled to assist. Please feel free to reach out anytime.
Unfortunately, the cherry blossom bloom was late this year because of the cold weather. My tour guide went out of his way to find the few blooming trees, and added some additional stops to make up for the lack of blooming trees.
Despite the unforeseen circumstances, I'm delighted to hear that your host made every effort to enhance your experience. We appreciate your flexibility and hope to welcome you back for a tour during a more vibrant season in the future!
The best part of my experience was the lovely, knowledgeable guide, Kyoko. Given the constant rain and the chilly weather which led to cherry blossoms not blooming she was quick to improvise and we spent a lovely time covering alternative activities which weren’t even on my list. Thank you, Kyoko
We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Kyoko despite the weather challenges! Thank you for your kind words, and can't wait to welcome you back for another adventure!
Antonio was the best guide. He was so patient and helpful. We enjoyed getting to know him an we had a wonderful time viewing the cherry blossoms.
