Excursión por la costa desde Limón a lo más destacado del Caribe
Descripción
Durante este tour, podrás experimentar algunas de las principales actividades de Limón en un día. Visitarás una selva tropical local desde un punto de vista único : los Canales del Tortuguero! En este tour serás testigo de una gran diversidad de vida silvestre de nuestro barco (monos, aves acuáticas, iguanas, basiliscos y tal vez perezosos). ¡Recuerda, esto es Naturaleza! A veces, el avistamiento de animales puede depender de las condiciones climáticas y las horas de marea. Luego visitaremos una granja orgánica con una pequeña plantación de plátanos; veremos varios tipos de árboles frutales exóticos, inmersos en la naturaleza tropical, y aprenderemos sobre la cultura caribeña, haciendo un recorrido turístico por la ciudad de Limón. Al final del recorrido, hay una visita opcional a la playa Playa Bonita, donde podrá relajarse y disfrutar de la brisa del mar y la increíble exclusividad de la naturaleza costarricense mientras abraza la cultura local y vive el estilo de vida puro impulsado por la música de Calipso.

A la ronda 9 : 30 am, se dirigirá a los Canales del Tortuguero donde podrá divisar decenas de aves acuáticas y con suerte monos y otros mamíferos.
Puedes terminar el día en Playa Bonita donde podremos disfrutar de algunas de las cálidas aguas del Caribe seguido de un city tour por Limón.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Al desembarcar, busque a nuestro representante de GioTours, que lo estará esperando en la puerta amarilla del muelle siguiendo las franjas blancas en el suelo, ubicada después del mercado de recuerdos. Nuestro representante usará pantalones caqui y una camisa blanca con botones con el logotipo de GioTours y llevará un letrero que dice "GioTours" con su nombre. Solicitamos a todos los invitados que planeen estar en el lugar designado para la reunión al menos 10 minutos antes de la hora de salida programada indicada anteriormente.

Book this excursion! Don't even think about booking one through the cruise line. This is a much better excursion and more reasonably priced. Juan is an excellent tour guide and David is an excellent driver. We saw it all - birds, a caiman, a crocodile, a sloth, and howler monkeys! Juan is very knowledgeable about the plants and animals of Costa Rica. He will not make something up if he doesn't know the answer. He and David travel from San Jose, CR to do this tour. They were waiting for us at the designated time with a sign. I booked this excursion because of the reviews and the six of us travelling together were very satisfied.

We just experienced THE BEST shore excursion we have ever been on! Juan Miguel with Gio Tours Costa Rica was our private driver for the day. He more than exceeded our expectations ! Juan was very knowledgeable about his home country and took us to beautiful sights and adventures throughout the day. Juan, our guide, did an excellent job sharing info and taking us to great sites in Limón, Costa Rica. We took a great safari boat ride and saw a sloth, iguanas, howling monkeys and several bird species. The plantation visit was awesome! We learned about local fruits, coffee and sugar cane.
Our guide Juan made for the most wonderful tour in Limon today during our cruise stop! The highlight of getting up close to the baby sloth on the boat tour was outstanding! Grateful for this experience in your country.

Juan with Gio Tours was a great travel guide. Antonio was the driver and also took great photographs during the canal ride. We saw at least two sloths, a baby crocodile, many birds, and several monkeys.

We loved this excursion. Juan met us at the port and made us feel comfortable. He was clear in his explanations, was very knowledgeable and always asked if we had questions before continuing. It was just ok. I’ve been on many Viator tours and this wasn’t one to recommend. The canal boat ride wasn’t very impressive
