El huésped podrá explorar la rica historia de la isla de Nueva Providencia mientras viaja por algunos de los pueblos indígenas de Nassau, como "Fox Hill Village". Construido en 1741 con piedra caliza local, Fort Montagu es el fuerte más antiguo que sigue en pie en la isla de New Providence. Está en el extremo este del puerto de Nassau a lo largo del paseo marítimo.
La Casa de Gobierno, ubicada en una propiedad de 10 acres, se encuentra en el Monte Fitzwilliam y es la residencia oficial del Gobernador General de las Bahamas. Data de 1801 y este imponente edificio rosa y blanco en Duke Street es un excelente ejemplo de la mezcla de la arquitectura colonial estadounidense y británica de las Bahamas. Las elegantes columnas y el amplio camino circular recuerdan los estilos de Virginia y las Carolinas. Frente al edificio se encuentra la estatua de Cristóbal Colón. We had an amazing time on this tour! It ended up being a private experience because my daughter and I were the only ones booked for our time slot, which made it even more special. Our driver and guide, Delano, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of The Bahamas. We learned about Bahamian independence, visited the Queen’s Staircase, and enjoyed hearing the stories behind each stop. The food and tastings were a highlight! We sampled delicious rum cakes, Bahamian rum, wine at a local distillery, conch fritters, cracked conch, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch of peas and rice, jerk chicken, and plantains. Delano made us feel like VIPs from start to finish, and we never felt rushed. If you’re looking for a fun, authentic way to experience Bahamian history, culture, and cuisine, I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Delano, for making our day so memorable!

Not enough time to get to do everything on the list. Didn’t get to do the Rum Cake Factory nor Arawak Cay. Our driver, Paula, was nice and informative. We enjoyed all the history and the other things she pointed out to us. We were the only ones in the vehicle so it was like having our own private tour.
Dilano was extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and punctual. He answered all questions and was engaging during the entire tour. Would recommend, especially if its your first time visiting the Bahamas!!
It was above and beyond. Delano (unofficial Mayor.. for now) was great. He took us to everything we wanted to see. He joked with us and his driving was very safe. He told us what it meant when people honked car horns so when we were driving we could fit in. His knowledge of the Bahamas was fantastic. He told us what all the colors of the buildings stood for. He learned some about Kansas too. We would do the tour again just to visit with Delano!!!! Truly worth the money!!!!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience on this Nassau food tour! It was the perfect mix of delicious local food, island history, and sightseeing. We loved learning about the history and culture of the Bahamas while exploring different parts of the island, including some of the residential areas you normally wouldn’t see as a tourist. The fried conch fritters were amazing, and sampling locally made rum drinks from the vendors at Fish Fry was definitely a highlight! Delano was an incredibly kind, patient, and courteous guide who made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. We truly appreciated his knowledge and hospitality. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nassau My only reason for the 4 stars was due to not getting out to see the fort or queens staircase. -closed at the time of our visit.

This tour went to the popular spots but also gave us the opportunity to sample local cuisine that was atypical tourist fare. We had a lovely time.
Traveled with my family and enjoyed having a private tour. Loved exploring Nassau and hearing about the history. The food and drinks were amazing !!
We had a fun day touring places in Nassau we hadn't seen before. We arrived by Cruise Ship and had a message from the tour operator that morning advising us of the exact pickup location (very close to port) and the Drivers Name and License Plate Number. We were the only 2 passengers this day, so had a private tour with our informative tour guide (Delano). He took us around various places in Nassau and we also had wine & chocolate tasting, fantastic conch fritters, and then a lunch with jerk chicken & rice. Plenty of food was provided and we wished we had eaten a smaller breakfast as we were full! Delano was a great tour guide and we enjoyed the tour. Take some small bills for tips at the fort and queen steps as we had a private presentation by an individual at each stop and wanted to give them a little extra as we were getting special attention at the stop!
