El Palacio Bang Pa-In es un antiguo palacio que data de la era de Ayutthaya. El Palacio Real de Bang Pa-In tiene una historia que se remonta al siglo XVII. El palacio está dividido en dos zonas: una es la zona interior que la familia real utiliza como lugar de descanso y la otra es la zona exterior que está abierta a la gente común y a los turistas. La arquitectura y el estilo artístico de este palacio son verdaderamente una obra maestra. Hay arte tallado en cada pared. El piso de la cámara principal es de azulejos Jay con pintura artística en cada azulejo. Además, el área circundante está decorada con muebles y decoración chinos.
Es uno de los templos más antiguos y significativos de la historia de Ayutthaya, ya que albergaba la reliquia sagrada de Buda. El templo está ubicado en la zona del Parque Histórico de Ayutthaya, donde se celebraron importantes ceremonias reales de la era de Ayutthaya.
La ciudad histórica de Ayutthaya, fundada en 1350. La ciudad fue atacada y arrasada por el ejército birmano en 1767, quien quemó la ciudad hasta los cimientos y obligó a sus habitantes a abandonarla. La ciudad nunca fue reconstruida en el mismo lugar y hoy en día sigue siendo conocida como un extenso sitio arqueológico. Construido en 1630 por el rey Prasat Thong en honor a su madre, Wat Chai Wattanaram fue concebido como una réplica del templo de Angkor. El estilo arquitectónico está influenciado por el templo de Angkor en Camboya; su característica única es un gran prang central (pagoda de estilo jemer) rodeado de prangs más pequeños.
Phra Mongkhon Bophit es una de las imágenes de Buda de bronce más grandes de Tailandia, con unas medidas de (aproximadamente) 9,5 metros de ancho y una altura de 12,5 metros (sin el pedestal). La imagen de Buda está sentada en la posición de someter a Mara. Wat Mongkhon Bophit es un recinto de templos "activo" y, durante todo el día, muchas personas visitan y veneran la imagen de Buda.
El templo no es solo un lugar histórico importante, sino que también se considera el centro espiritual de los tailandeses desde hace mucho tiempo. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet es el monasterio real y, por lo tanto, no se permite que residan monjes en él. En el centro del templo hay tres pagodas ceilanesas (o con forma de campana) adyacentes situadas en plataformas rectangulares. Se cree que estas plataformas fueron la base de las casas reales en el período de Ayutthaya.

The trip to Ayuttayah with Rawat and Pat was a great experience. Rawat, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable, caring and enthusiastic, ensuring the day was tailored to our groups varying needs as the day went on. Additionally, the driver was fantastic, ensuring a safe and stress free journey- which is not often something you feel whilst being in Bangkok! I would highly recommend this trip to anybody wanting to see the ancient Thai ruins whilst in the hustle and hustle of Bangkok.

Our guide (Wat, whose name is something else but said to call him this) was a wealth of information throughout the whole day. He was also very accommodating to what we wanted to do/see. We weren’t interested in stopping for lunch, which he completely understood and it was nice to have the day shortened slightly by that and get back to Bangkok with time to still spend the day around our hotel.

We had an excellent experience with our guide Rawat for a private tour. He came early for our pick up and explained how the day will proceed. Rawat was knowledgeable about surroundings and spoke about it. The tour can be tailored to how long or short you want to see each site. The tour was seamless as I did not want to think about where to go and the logistics. Driver was great too as he drove efficient and took short cut backroads to avoid traffic. If you don’t want to do the tour group bus thing and want to do a tour at your own pace then check this out.

Excellent tour from Bangkok to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace and Auytthaya. Our guide Kulsaya and our driver were excellent. Kulsaya contacted us the day before to introduce herself and check we knew the dress code requirements for the Summer Palace as they are stricter than for temples (i.e. no shorts for men). Pick-up from our hotel was punctual and followed by a drive of around 1h30 to the beautiful Summer Palace, which was amazing to visit. After that we visited three different locations at amazing Auytthaya, a true taste of Thailand's history! Kulsaya was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the history of all the sights and of Thailand - we learned so much! She was also extremely good at finding the perfect spot for photos! It was an incredibly hot day and we were struggling quite a bit with the heat but Kulsaya was professional, thoughtful and fun the whole time, even stopping to get us ice-cold bottles of water to keep us hydrated and cool when we exited from one of the temple sights. Handy hint - all of the Auytthaya sights we visited had free umbrellas available to borrow to keep the sun off so that did help a bit. Also you can't enter with water or iced drinks etc - if you have any you will have to drink or dispose of them before you'll be allowed to enter. The whole day ran perfectly to schedule, apart from the return journey due to the traffic. But our driver handled it well, knew a few short cuts and drove safely at all times. Definitely a great tour to see two of Thailand's most amazing historical sights, highly recommended!

I reserved this tour for my family and I but I needed to change the date of the tour because of a work situation and when 2 months before the tour original date I tryed to move forward the date of the tour, this people quoted me the tour on the new date with almost 100% increase in the price. Fortunately they let me cancel the reservation without a charge but we are very disapointed
