Sólo queda deslumbrarse y encantarse ante tanta belleza frente a estos magníficos objetos de arte y su floreciente y múltiple artesanía. Este recorrido le permite ver a más de 40.000 artesanos locales en los zocos de Marrakech. Descubrirá las maravillas de las especias y tradiciones marroquíes que se utilizan internacionalmente y también por los marroquíes desde hace cientos de años. La guía le mostrará cómo se fabrican a mano las alfombras tradicionales con colores naturales, y también podrá ver cómo se fabrican el cobre, la madera y otros artículos originales en los zocos. El guía se asegurará de que usted se sienta cómodo y disfrute de su visita.

Itinerario
Comenzaremos visitando los talleres de los artesanos locales (marroquinería, herreros, carpinteros, tintoreros, etc. y muchos otros). Visitaremos algunos de los mejores showrooms, bazares y tiendas, para descubrir los mejores productos de nuestra artesanía, ¡que no se encuentran a primera vista! Desde muebles hasta joyas, lámparas, accesorios, alfombras y caftán… ¡todo está en este recorrido único en su tipo!
El zoco de los tintoreros se encuentra en la Medina, cerca de la fuente Mouassine y de la mezquita del mismo nombre, en la mitad occidental del entramado de calles. Aunque este zoco perdió su actividad hace varios años con el creciente uso de tintes industriales, todavía se pueden ver algunos pequeños talleres donde todavía se practica el teñido tradicional.
Considerada la arteria principal de los zocos de la Medina, se puede acceder al Zoco Semmarine desde la plaza Jemaa El Fna, en un derb (callejón de la medina) del mismo nombre. Un nombre que toma de los herradores que antiguamente ocupaban este lugar estratégico para herrar los animales de los caravaneros, mientras estos hacían sus habituales compras. Hoy en día, el Zoco Semmarine es una avenida comercial muy colorida donde se pueden encontrar principalmente comerciantes de tejidos, souvenirs y artesanías, pero también direcciones únicas de antigüedades marroquíes. Representa la entrada a los zocos especializados: especias, alfombras, tejidos, zapatillas... Una auténtica cueva de Ali Baba.

Amid found us at the meeting point and it was just the two of of us on this booking. It was a wet day so we got under cover in the souk. Amid shared a lot of interesting information about Morocco, Marrakesh, the souk and the artisans. Plenty of history and how that has shaped Marrakesh today. There were various stops at different shops of good quality. Friendly selling, tea along the way, but no pressure to buy. A great way to familiarise yourself with the various areas of the souk and assistance in getting a better deal if you are keen to make a purchase. If you want to see more artisans in action it would be good to go on a morning tour

Our Marrakech experience with Amid The day was full of excitement...Amid had given us a thorough tour to the places we want to go like the Souk of Medina, Jemaa El- Fnaa and many more...he was so patient and kind and very accommodating to answer the questions about the place. The history and the buildings are art itself. I even take notes of the history he had discussed about the place in Marrakech. He brought us to places that we can buy original and genuine products from Morroco, leathers and teapots, herbs and beauty products, as well as the recommended Hammam scrub 🤣 an unforgettable experience. We were glad our riad recommended Amid as our private tour guide. We're in Marrakech for a short visit on the weekend to celebrate me and my friends 50th 🎂! We thoroughly enjoyed our full-day private walking tour with Amid! He is very knowledgeable about Morocco’s history & culture, which made his explanations interesting and informative at each stop. He adjusted our itinerary to fit our interests and structured our day intelligently - visits to important sites followed by a relaxing rooftop to lunch, then shopping in the souks. As a shopping guide, Amid really excelled! We were given special showings by high quality merchants for only the product categories we wanted to see (rugs, spices, skin care, and stoneware).
