Este sitio declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO no solo es el parque más grande de Croacia, sino también el más antiguo del país, con 16 lagos en cascada, impresionantes cañones y la cascada más alta de Croacia, perfecta para tomar fotos dignas de Instagram en el camino. Disfrute de una corta caminata alrededor de los lagos superiores, súbase a un corto crucero turístico alrededor de los lagos inferiores y termine con un paseo panorámico en barco y almuerzo opcional en un restaurante tradicional. It was a great day on 1 July! Bari was masterful in adjusting plans around bus issues and ended up giving us an even better experience. His style was perfect and knowledge impressive.
Plitvice Lakes was the perfect day trip for those like me who wanted to immerse themselves in nature. The group size was a little much at times though, as when I'm in nature I just prefer a quieter group personally. But Bruno, the guide, was excellent! My biggest critique though was the office staff back in Split. The meeting time was set for 6:30am and no one showed up until nearly 7am. There were also two different tours there, so it wasn't organized well. The girls in the office were a bit rude too and still owe me 5€ since the national park ticket cost 35€ but I only had two 20€ bills. They rushed everyone, despite them being late, to the bus before the tour. Luckily, Bruno and the scenery made up for the morning chaos!
That was an amazing experience, plitvice is a place you should visit at least once in a lifetime but I suggest to go in spring or beginning autumn because is all walking and hiking but apart the heat the tour was very good and our tour leader Bruno was so nice and patient with us.
Amazing national park, worth every step. Bruno was our guide, he's very friendly and answered all our question. Definitely recommend!

Barry was a fantastic guide (knowledgeable, funny, and organized). And the park is so beautiful. Barry took us on a path where we saw upper and lower lakes. We never felt hurried and got to see so many amazing sights. Highly recommend.

Fun full day trip. The views of the lakes and waterfalls make it worth the drive. Our tour guides (Mia and Sanya) were friendly, funny, and kept us on track. Also big thanks to our driver!

We received an email 2 days before the trip that had the wrong starting point and phone numbers. We therefore missed our trip. After searching through the website, we finally found a correct phone number. The person answering was not helpful. We finally found the correct office. It turns out that the original company had been purchased by another company and many customers had been receiving the wrong address from an old auto generated email. They did book us onto a tour of another national park. This other tour was shorter and cheaper. We have yet to receive any refund from the new company. DO NOT book this trip.
