Salga de Atenas con un coche ejecutivo privado o mini furgoneta y conduzca por la fértil llanura de Beocia, cruzando la ciudad de Tebas, mundialmente conocida por su trágica historia del rey Edipo. Alcanza las Termópilas y maravilla el paisaje y monumento del Rey Leónidas. Continuar por las pintorescas ciudades de Livadeia y Arachova en las laderas del Monte Parnaso. A su llegada a Delfos, explore los "Omhalos" ("Ombligo de la Tierra") y maravíllese con las ruinas de un antiguo santuario que se enriqueció como sede del oráculo. Tómese su tiempo y admire las vistas de un paisaje de belleza inigualable. Vea los restos del Santuario de Apolo Pitios y visite el Tesoro de los atenienses. Más tarde su conductor privado le recomendará un buen lugar para comer, con vistas al mar y al rico valle de olivos. Al regresar, deténgase en Arachova para estirar las piernas y tomar un café, pastelería, té o vino.

Haz una parada en el campo de batalla de las Termópilas, donde se libró la Batalla de las Termópilas entre una alianza de ciudades-estado de la Antigua Grecia, dirigida por el rey Leónidas I de Esparta, y el Imperio aqueménida de Jerjes I. Se libró en el 480 a. tres días, durante la segunda invasión persa de Grecia. Maravíllate con el monumento a Leónidas que fue erigido en 1955 y creado por el escultor Vasos Falireas. La escultura de bronce del Rey Espartano con su lanza y su escudo es realmente asombrosa. Junto al monumento de Leonidas, se encuentra el centro de información de la batalla de Thermopyale en el que puedes ver un video muy informativo de unos 10 minutos.
Una vez en Delfos, diríjase al sitio arqueológico de ladera de la montaña, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, uno de los más importantes de Grecia. Luego, recorra las ruinas y arroje luz sobre el oráculo del sitio, una antigua sacerdotisa que transmitió mensajes del dios Apolo. Admire el Templo de Apolo y otros monumentos, y luego visite el Museo Arqueológico para ver sus artefactos, incluido el Auriga de Delfos y la Esfinge de Naxos.
Pare en este pequeño pueblo precioso y tener una gran comida. Combínalo con vino local y excelentes vistas del mar y los olivares del valle.

George, our driver and fount of knowledge for all things Greek, was quite the character. He made our trip to Delphi and Thermopylae a very memorable experience. Everything ran like clockwork and we got time to see everything we wanted to see at both sites. Our guide at Delphi was exceptional. The lunch venue provided some good tasty food in a nice environment. Overall, just a great day out travelling with a new friend. Thanks George.

We had an amazing trip to Delphi and Thermopylae. Our driver George was fantastic. Extremely well read, articulate and amusing. My 14 year old was captivated by his stories. Delphi is gorgeous. So much history. Also Thermopylae, while not as visited as Delphi was very interesting. The sulphuric hot springs are a great spot. The trip was easygoing and George was very thoughtful keeping our needs in mind. We’re huge animal lovers and loved that George brought bread with him to feed one of his stray dog friends at Thermopylae. Highly recommend Crispy Local and George. You will not be disappointed.

My guide for the tour was Mr Yannis. The drive was smooth. Loved the countryside and the views. On the route I was told the story about the Oracle on Delphi and many other historical as well as Greek mythological facts. Even though the tour was booked on a very short notice, everything was arranged perfectly. The pickup was right on time as per the plan. I was left for exploring the archaeological site as per my convenience. There was no time limit for spending time at the sites/museums. The trip ends with lunch at a restaurant curated by the team. Crispylocal is truly recommended for those who love to spend their time at sites as per their own convenience since all the tours are 100% customisable and private.
