If you are interested in Roman and early Christian sites, Salona will not disappoint. Our tour was led by Luca who did an outstanding job bring the history of the site to life. Klis, meaning the key is the city of Meereen in Game of Thrones. Amazing fortress with less steps than I thought. The views are incredible! Highly recommended and a must do when visiting Split.

The Kliss Fort is very interesting but difficult terrain. Be prepared and bring water and sturdy shoes Salona was nice but not what we expected not enough information. Aroumd the.site. Our tour guide was marginal. It was only his 3rd week and he didnt communicate anything unless asked.
Our guide was very knowledgeable concerning the history of the two sites we visited and provided us with an enjoyable trip. The driver was safe and did his job well.
