Andorra es un país independiente entre España y Francia, con una historia, naturaleza, gastronomía y patrimonio únicos que hace de esta excursión de un día una de las más interesantes para descansar un poco durante su estancia en la concurrida Barcelona. Si NO quieres pasar 13 o más horas en un autobús conducido por 3 países diferentes en un día, prefieres ser parte de un tour exclusivo a Andorra. Así que, por favor, no esperes encontrar grandes almacenes o un centro comercial, porque Andorra es mucho más que eso. PD : Si realmente quieres pasar por Francia podemos hacerlo por un pago extra (gratis de 4 pax). Se recomienda especialmente ver la belleza de la conducción en Berguedà y La Cerdanya, todavía en Cataluña (España) y entrando en Andorra después de conducir unos kilómetros por Francia. PASAPORTE obligatorio (no carnet de conducir ni documento nacional de identidad) para todos los pasajeros procedentes de terceros países. Necesito un número mínimo de pasajeros (2 adultos) para hacer el tour.

Itinerario
Es un puente medieval del siglo XIV. Es agua que fluye por debajo durante todo el año. La vegetación es diferente en cada estación. Se encuentra en el sur del país, cerca de la frontera española, a unos 850 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Cerca del puente se sabe que vivían los primeros habitantes en el territorio actual de Andorra, hace unos 12.000 años.
Es una antigua casa donde tuvo lugar el gobierno de Andorra desde 1580 hasta 2011. La entrada al lugar es voluntaria, y cuesta 5 €. Si algunos de los miembros no están interesados en la Casa de la Vall, pueden pasar 1 hora haciendo compras y caminando por las calles del casco antiguo de Andorra la Vella.
Este es un espectacular mirador situado a unos 1.950 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Desde este lugar podemos ver una escultura de hojalata que representa a un hombre observando las vistas rodeado por una plataforma de vidrio inferior. Las vistas a la montaña pertenecen a la parroquia de Canillo: ciudad capital y algunos de sus alrededores como algunos picos y pistas de esquí. La cima de las montañas tendrá nieve al menos 10 meses al año. Es una parada opcional y el coste es de 5€ por persona (no incluido; si la cafetería está cerrada solo aceptarán pago en efectivo en euros).
El nombre de esta atracción es solo Ordino. Un pequeño pueblo, capital de uno de los siete municipios de Andorra. En Ordino podemos caminar por las calles estrechas donde podemos ver algunas casas del siglo XVII, una bonita iglesia, casas familiares, e incluso algunos cafés en la calle principal. También os puedo enseñar otro pueblo con encanto en Andorra, más pequeño que Ordino y casi sin servicios, pero será un secreto entre tú y yo.
Del rápido crecimiento de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, todavía quedan algunas ciudades que conservan el encanto del pasado. Uno de estos ejemplos es Ordino. En Ordino podremos pasear por las calles del casco antiguo de la ciudad donde podremos ver algunas casas del siglo XVII, como la Casa Rosell o la Casa Areny-Plandolit, así como su iglesia barroca, San Cornelio y San Cebrio. Para los que prefieran ver una iglesia realmente antigua construida en la Edad Media os recomiendo Sant Miquel d'Engolasters (siglo XII) o Santa Coloma (finales del siglo VIII-principios del siglo IX), esta última cuesta 7€ e incluye un pequeño museo con experiencia audiovisual y muestra tres cuadros antiguos XII-XIII, arrancados en el siglo XX de iglesias andorranas pero recuperados por el país.

Our tour became a private tour because there were only my husband & I. Antonio was very helpful & picked us up (& drop off) at our hotel. We used Whatsapp to communicate before the tour & didn't have to go to the meeting place. Antonio was also very knowledgeable about Andorra & Spain. We chose this tour purposely to concentrate only on Andorra without wasting time in other Spain or France cities. He was able to bring us to see different parts of Andorra. There were some beautiful sites & Andorra is "bigger" than we thought. We enjoyed the tour very much.
Antonio was a great and very knowledgeable guide. He was on time and communicative and Andorra was stunning - we went all over the little country and it has it all, from old medieval churches to picturesque mountains. Antonio knew lots of interesting places to hit as well as great photo spots. Since I was the only traveler that day it was very relaxed and I had a lot of say in the itinerary, I imagine it's a bit different with more of a group, but nonetheless I would highly recommend. I also didn't mind the long drive from Barcelona - Antonio's car was comfortable and the scenery in Spain is beautiful, and Antonio had a lot of information and history about Andorra along the way.

Andorra is underrated yet its Pyrenees mountain features have the touch of the Swiss Alps that we enjoyed wading through flowing springs and some snow caps even during Spring. Thanks to Anton our guide who was very knowledgeable about Andorra from its geography, history, and current affairs. He was very good at driving us around the best spots and on time. He was very flexible and he customized our trip based on our interests and the needs of the kids. He was very helpful and answered all our questions, and knew a lot about the place that makes you love Andorra more. Plus, we were able to have our passports stamped with official Andorra border entry stamp.

Had a brilliant trip front start to finish on our tour of Andorra, perfect itinerary for the day, didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to explore. Antonio was fantastic, communicating the meeting point in advance. He had a great itinerary planned and allowed us to adjust time in each area on the tour, allowing more time where we wanted it. The Alpine views and snowy peaks were lovely and we had one of the best meals on our trip at a local spot nestled in the mountains that we were dropped off at! This tour is quite a commitment, however, due to the amount of driving involved from Barcelona - much more time than we anticipated, but it’s the only way to get there (no airports or trains go to Andorra) and the van was comfortable. Most of what we saw was while driving and a few brief spots for pictures. We didn’t get to stroll through any medieval towns or walk any suspension bridges as pictured, but, to be fair, the itinerary seemed limited/fluid due to the daylight hours we had in mid-November. We did walk around a 8th century church that pretty cool tho. Those going during different seasons would likely have a different experience. I would recommend to those going to do some research on Andorra and chat with Antonio about the specific itinerary prior to make sure you don’t miss anything you want to see or see pictured with the tour.
Thanks for this review. It is not a secret than Andorra is 3h from Barcelona. Maybe a little bit less if you don't start from the Barcelona center and don't stop on the way. Anyways much less drive than in the 3 countries in 1 day. In this daytrip in particular, there was a family with a couple of member celiacs and the lunch time took us 1h30 min in your restaurant. As you said in this season days are shorter and sus sets about 5.30 am in Barcelona (even a bit before that in the mountains). The andorra old towns are not medieval because most of the oldest houses are from 17th century or newer (most of the andorra construction is new). The only medieval buildings in the country are the 32 oldest churches romanesque and prerromanesque and a medieval bridge.
