Excursión en crucero por Tauranga por Rotorua Redwood y el pueblo maorí

Trabajando dentro del horario del crucero, nos reuniremos con usted en el puerto de Tauranga y buscaremos comenzar nuestro viaje a una hora previamente acordada. Al embarcarnos en el viaje a lo largo de la costa del Monte Maunganui visitaremos un huerto de kiwis en el camino a Rotorua. Con parada oficial en el famoso Bosque de Secuoyas. Es aquí donde se embarcará en el paseo de árboles de dosel que realmente es un paso hacia el paraíso con las secuoyas californianas y algo de nuestra fauna local. La segunda parada se realizará en uno de los destinos turísticos de mayor duración de la región. Whakarewarewa cuenta con actividad termal, piscinas de barro y el géiser más grande del hemisferio sur. Se incluye una visita guiada y una representación cultural, seguida de un almuerzo ligero cocinado al estilo tradicional maorí. Especializado en tours en grupos pequeños en vehículos Mercedes o similares. Ofrecemos refrescos y aperitivos, además de Wi-Fi durante todo su viaje con nosotros. Se trata de un tour de un día familiar de aproximadamente 6,5 horas de duración.

This was a good tour, and we enjoyed it. The Redwoods was a nice experience, and the visit to the Maori (sp?) village was interesting. Our driver/guide Alan was entertaining and informative.
We had a fabulous time. The tour was well organized. We really enjoyed our guide Allen. He was very informative and kept us on schedule.

Driver/guide John knew his stuff. He was courteous and obliging. The guide who took us through the village had great background knowledge of his people and explained how they utilised the geothermal springs in their lifestyle.
This tour was absolutely amazing. The guide met us right outside the cruise ship port exactly when he said. During the drive to the village, our guide kept us entertained informing us of the local area and all sorts of details. At the village, we had a great lunch and we're turned over to a local guide who had been raised in the village. We next visited the geothermal pools and then a walk up in the redwoods. The trip back to the cruise was right on time. Excellent from start to finish.
Alan, our guide for the day, was a hoot. Brimming with humor and information, he kept us amused all day long. There was plenty of variety. We learned about Kiwi fruit cultivation, and stopped to peer at a field of vines and marvel at the huge spruce hedges rimming the fields to literally filter out bugs and diseases. The main stop was Whakarewarewa historic village built on a geothermal field. It is called “the living Maori village”. The introductory cultural show by 7 artists was astonishing. Fraser, who guided us there was about as enthusiastic as anyone can be. We learned all about family life and enjoyed a nice lunch there, too. We finished the day on the Redwood Tree Walk in Rotarua.
Our tour guide made each activity special. He shared information about the history of the area and how it's growth has changed life here. We couldn't ask for a more fun filled day.
Walking up in the redwoods was a great experience. The Māori village was very interesting and unique. Learning about the culture from someone who grew up there was very special. Our driver/guide, Allan, was the best! His wealth of knowledge about every area he took us through was impressive. He taught us about how they grow kiwi fruit, and gave us a wonderful walking tour around the geothermal area. His vibrant personality made this one of the best tours we have been on, both educational and entertaining.
