Itinerario

What a great day with Terry! We had signed up for the ebike tour but because of the rain, we switched to the walk, bus, train and taxi tour. Terry made it work perfect for us to still see all the sites and learn about the culture around them. It was fun to use the different modes of transportation like a local. It's a bonus that he takes some photos for you and sends you a link. Love the convenience of that! It you want to see Kamakura with someone who knows and cares about the city, I highly recommend Terry.

Absolutely MUST DO. Kazu was the best possible guide you can hope for. Very knowledgeable, great with English and extremely flexible in the design of the tour and stops. He taught us a lot about Japanese daily life. Probably the best day of our entire trip.
Dear Nicolas, Thank you for booking our Kamakura Bike Tour and exploring Kamakura in a different way! It is our pleasure to know that your adventure with Kazu became the highlight of your trip. We are very much looking forward to your next visit! Best regards, Kyoko
We love the tour! Kamakura is quite different from Tokyo, and we enjoyed the old-world charm it offers. Kazu was really helpful in explaining the cultural and historical aspects of the buildings we saw and the places we went to, that it makes quite a difference the lens with which we saw the sights. The roads are a bit narrow for cycling, though I also feel that the bicycles helped us get around a little faster. Would definitely recommend the tour, and I would also consider checking out their tours when I visit Japan again!
Dear valued customer, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had a great experience! We hope to welcome you back on another tour soon when you next visit Japan! Best regards, Monica
It was a wonderful tour. I like the few off the beaten path spots we visited that I feel I would never have seen if I didn't do this bike tour. We also biked in residential areas which gave a glimpse of local life. That was really nice. Be prepared to bike in streets with cars and people. There are paths that are not leisurely at all for people who are not used to biking in urban settings. Our guide Kazu-san was warm and friendly. He made sure to accommodate the least experienced biker (me). This tour was worth fearing for my life a bit. Hah! But that's only because I am not used to biking with a lot of people.
Dear Valued Customers, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our tour with Kazu-san and that we were able to provide you with a great experience. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be shared with our team. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on one of our tours in the near future. Best regards, Mariko
This was the perfect day trip from Tokyo! Kamakura is a beautiful city and seeing it by bike is the ideal way to both feel immersed in the culture, but also cover a large amount of ground. My tour guide, Yuki, was wonderful! From meeting me at the train station to biking around Kamakura to even providing recommendations on what to do when I returned to Tokyo, Yuki went the extra mile to make me feel welcome, explain the history of Kamakura, and help me understand the cultural nuances of life in Japan. The shrines and temples were beautiful as well as the forests around Kamakura. Biking around the narrow streets past homes and schools, really helped me to feel like I was seeing a glimpse of the normal everyday life of the people in Kamakura. We stopped at this delicious neighborhood café and had noodles. Yuki explained to me the difference between the noodles that we ate and the typical soba noodles that I had eaten previously in Tokyo (made with wheat vs buckwheat). This is just a small example of the cultural nuances that Yuki helped to explain that I would’ve totally missed that had I not had a tour guide. I felt safe the entire time we were on a bike and Yuki did a good job of making sure I was always near her. I’m used to urban cycling but it is worth noting that while drivers are very respectful, you will be biking on the road without a bike lane. After the tour, I took a 30 minute train ride down to Enoshima and spent the rest the the afternoon at the ocean and watched the sunset over Mount Fuji from the Sea Candle. I was traveling solo and Yuki was kind enough to take my picture throughout the day – way better than my selfies! I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day! Thank you!

Exploring Kamakura on two wheels is a must! Packed with history and beauty, the shrines, temples, and hidden gems of Kamakura make this a perfect day trip from Tokyo. Our guide, Kazu, was super friendly and made my husband's birthday even more special with his sense of humor and kindness. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Dear Marla-san Thank you so much for joining the tour and excellent review! We're so happy that you enjoyed the special day with Kazu. We organize the guided tours throughout Japan, so we will happy to host you again. Stay safe and enjoy your life in Japan! From Takeshi and Kazu
I booked this tour for just myself and it was absolutely brilliant. It’s the perfect place to explore on a bike. Yoshi was a fantastic guide; he took me to all the beautiful temples and shrines, the big Buddha, the seaside, a local market etc. I felt like I saw everything in this packed day tour. Yoshi also offered to take photos of me at each of the stops which was nice as I was travelling solo. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, it’s been one of my top highlights in Japan. It’s a really easy train ride from Tokyo and the guide will meet you at Kamakura station with a name card. Also worth noting, there were no points on this tour where you were taken somewhere to be sold something like so many tours do these days and I also got to choose where I had lunch which was nice. Thank you for a fantastic day out!
Thank you so much for joining the tour and your wonderful review! I’m glad that you enjoyed experiencing a lot of Japanese culture and had a great time with your guide. I hope you will come back to Japan and explore hidden gems again. I’m looking forward to seeing you next time!
