Itinerario

À really excellent and long day out. À fairly comfortable ride and a lovely, helpful and informative guide. Thoroughly recommend.
That was exceptional trip! Koba as a tour guide did very good job and took care for all of us. Also his timing for the stops and next places to visit was excellent (we haven't got into the queue/traffic). In addition, the driver Wabko (as I wrote it properly) was good and he knows how to drive off roads and how to behave on the road, so we feel very safe during entire trip. The hoke in Truso Vally was super cool! Great atmosphere and Koba told us a lot of stories/history of Georgia. I'd do it one more time!
Thank you for this wonderful feedback. We are thrilled that your trip to Kazbegi and the Truso Valley was such an exceptional experience. Koba and Wabko will be incredibly happy to hear your kind words about their work. Ensuring our guests feel completely safe during the off-road sections while managing the itinerary perfectly to avoid traffic is exactly what we strive for. It is great to know you enjoyed the local history, the stories, and the hike through the valley. We would be absolutely delighted to travel with you again whenever you return to Georgia.
The Truso Valley is a wonder of nature. Fantastic guide Salome and driver Giorgi. Thank you.
This was an extraordinary trip — in every sense. The route and timings were well thought out, with great attention to detail, stunning scenery, and fascinating stories. In particular, our guide Koba was phenomenal — both for his kindness and his erudition. In addition, he showed great flexibility toward the group’s requests. The fact that the group was limited to six people was also a big advantage. Without a doubt, we’ll want to take our next tour with Koba again.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Dima, and for sharing your impressions! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the trip, the breathtaking views and Koba’s stories — he'll be thrilled to hear this! Your stunning photos perfectly capture the spirit of our adventure! We look forward to seeing you again for more off-road journeys across Georgia. 🇬🇪✨
Iona (Jonah) is an excellent guide! We absolutely loved our experience. He had so much background information on each place we stopped including the history of Georgia, legends in Georgian culture, politics and economics in Georgia, and the list goes on. We learned so much from him today. The hike was stunning and rejuvenating. Each part of the drive was scenic, just be ready for some real off roading! We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Georgia. Thank you!
Thank you so much, Magdalena! We’re thrilled you enjoyed your adventure to Kazbegi and Truso Valley with Jonah. He truly loves sharing Georgia’s stories, history, and culture — and it’s wonderful to hear how much you learned and enjoyed the scenic off-road journey. We hope to welcome you again for another mountain adventure with Friendly.ge!
Our Sunday turned into a real adventure thanks to our guide Giorgi! 🌄 He organized a trip from Tbilisi to the majestic Mount Kazbek (5034 m). Of course, we didn’t climb to the very top, but we reached heights over 2000 m. On the way, Giorgi showed us ancient 15th–17th century churches and shared their history. Then came a hike to mineral springs and an abandoned village, followed by a walk through the mountains across vast sheep pastures and even a “mountain traffic jam” made of livestock 🐑. The atmosphere was incredible: shepherds on horses, dogs, donkeys, goats, and sheep against the backdrop of cliffs, a mountain river, and autumn colors - it all felt like a movie scene! 🎬 Huge thanks to Giorgi for these emotions - we’ll soon put together a vibrant reels from this journey.
Dear Vitaliy, What a joy to read your review — thank you for such vivid and heartfelt words! It truly feels like we were hiking alongside you again through Truso Valley, hearing the shepherds and watching the mountains unfold in autumn colors. Giorgi will be delighted to know he made your day so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back for more adventures in Georgia — perhaps next time even higher into the Caucasus!
This tour was amazing! Everything was super well organized and comfortable from start to finish. The views were stunning, and we got to see so many beautiful places. Our guide Gio was the best — he told us lots of interesting stories, took great photos for everyone, and made the whole trip really fun and easy. Highly recommend this tour and Gio to anyone visiting Georgia!

Our guide Nini was friendly, polite, very knowledgeable and happy to explain everything and answer all of our questions. She made sure that we had enough time to explore and take pictures at every stop. She also chose good spots to have good coffee, stock up on delicious snacks and use the nice bathrooms. My personal highlight was Truso valley which is really beautiful and should not be missed. The driver (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name) was driving safely and we felt very well cared for on the whole tour. They even dropped me off right at my guesthouse in kazbegi because I did not return to tblisi. I can totally recommend doing this tour 😀
Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your journey to Kazbegi, Ananuri, Gudauri, and especially the stunning Truso Valley. Nini will be very happy to know her friendliness, knowledge, and care made your day so memorable. We always try to give our guests not only history and landscapes, but also those small touches — like good coffee stops, tasty snacks, and comfortable breaks — that make the trip more enjoyable. We’re also glad you felt safe and well cared for with our driver. Dropping you directly in Kazbegi was our pleasure — flexibility and guest comfort always come first for us. It means a lot that you recommend this tour, and we sincerely hope to welcome you again for another adventure in Georgia!
Koba is an excellent guide who gave us so much information as we went and slipped effortlessly between English and Russian. This trip is truly stunning and the walk in the Truso valley is a real highlight. Our driver was really skilled and navigated the hair pin roads with ease. A really stunning day out that should not be missed- the mountain area is insanely beautiful.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We’re delighted you enjoyed the journey with Koba and found Truso Valley as magical as we do. The mountains are truly unforgettable, and it’s wonderful to hear that both the guiding and driving made you feel comfortable and inspired. Hope to welcome you back for more adventures in Georgia!
We want to say a big Thank you to our guide Gio and the driver! The entire experience was a perfect blend of breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, and professional guidance. from the very beginning, our guide Gio was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly passionate about the region. Our trip to Trusso valley is definitely the highlight of our time in Georgia. The remnants of old Ossetian settlements, and the unique geological features of the valley—including the mineral springs and colorful travertine formations that make Trusso Valley so visually unique. The hike itself was moderate and manageable, even for my 70 years old mother. We had plenty of time for stops, photos, and just soaking in the surroundings. The views were unreal—endless stretches of open valley flanked by towering cliffs and distant mountain peaks. It felt like stepping into a forgotten part of the Caucasus. What stood out most was how untouched and peaceful the area felt. Unlike more popular routes, Trusso Valley remains relatively quiet and pristine, which made the experience feel all the more special.
Dear Svetlana, What a joy to read your heartfelt words! We’re so grateful that you chose to travel with us and share such meaningful moments with your mother. Guests like you are truly amazing, and it makes us proud that our exclusive itinerary to Trusso Valley became the highlight of your stay in Georgia. This hidden corner of the Caucasus is indeed magical — peaceful, untouched, and full of stories — and it was a privilege to explore it together. We’ll be sure to pass on your warm thanks to Gio and our driver, who will be so happy to know their passion and care helped make your journey unforgettable. We hope Georgia will welcome you again soon — there are always more discoveries waiting here!
