Cannot recommend - the destination is too far from Rome to not have an optimized itinerary. There’s far too much tourist-trapping on this particular tour, especially given the amount of time available after a three hour drive. We were shuffled from one gift shop to another and even told to eat in a specific restaurant when there were plenty of other available (which was horrible to boot, an impressive feat in a country that really doesn’t have bad restaurants). The entire thing had a bad vibe about it, more like a time-share pitch that you were forced to sit through in order to earn a few minutes jogging around Pompeii because time was running out. Sorry, but very disappointed in this one.
Dear Jason, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry that the experience didn't meet your expectations. Our Pompeii and Sorrento Day Trip from Rome is designed to offer travelers the opportunity to visit two of Southern Italy's most iconic destinations in a single day. Because the distance from Rome is significant, the itinerary follows a carefully planned schedule to maximize sightseeing while ensuring a comfortable journey and it is specified on the tour description. We would like to clarify that our company does not receive commissions from restaurants or shops, and guests are never required to make purchases. While the guide may recommend places for lunch or local products, these suggestions are entirely optional and intended to help visitors make the most of their free time. We regret that you felt rushed in Pompeii. Due to the site's extraordinary size and the logistics of a day trip from Rome, the visit focuses on its most important highlights while leaving free time in beautiful Sorrento. Your comments are valuable to us, and we will review them carefully with our operations team as we continuously work to improve our tours. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on another experience in Italy. Kind regards, Rosa

Dear Jason, We are writing formally regarding two reviews published by you on July 31, 2026, for the Pompeii and Sorrento Daily Trip from Rome “Sorry, I’d pick a different one” – username **Jason_C** “I’d avoid – likely better options” – username **jasoncC5928DS** Our records confirm that both reviews concern the same booking, the same customer and one single tour experience. Apart from their titles, the content is identical. Both reviews are currently displayed on the same product listing and therefore duplicate the negative impact of one customer experience on our rating and commercial reputation. Tripadvisor’s **Trust & Safety Review Posting Guidelines**, under the section **“One Review Per Experience,”** state: “You may write one review on any given business listed on Tripadvisor per experience or visit.” The guidelines also expressly provide for the removal of duplicate submissions made through multiple accounts. We fully recognise your right to publish an honest review, including a negative one. We are not asking you to withdraw your opinion, change your rating or amend the substance of your comments. However, publishing the same review twice for one booking creates a misleading representation of the number of customers who expressed dissatisfaction. We therefore formally request that you remove one of the two duplicate reviews and retain only one review concerning this experience. If the duplicate publication is not removed, we will submit the complete documentation to Viator and Tripadvisor, including the booking details, screenshots, publication dates, usernames and identical review texts, and request its removal under their content-integrity rules. Nothing in this communication constitutes an attempt to prevent legitimate criticism. Our request is strictly limited to correcting the duplicate publication and ensuring compliance with the applicable platform guidelines. We kindly ask you to resolve this matter within seven days of receiving this communication. Regards,
Not what I expected - of the 12.5hr day, we only spent 1hr at Sorrento for a quick lunch, and 1.5hrs at Pompeii. The tour was delivered in English and Spanish, which was fine for the most part but meant our tour guide at Pompeii had to repeat everything in the other language, limiting what we were able to see with our already very precious time. Ultimately would not recommend if you want to see more than just a few of the “highlights” of Pompeii.
Dear Jaime, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to highlight that Italy holds around 70% of the world’s archaeological treasures, and Pompeii itself is not just a site but an entire ancient city. To truly explore it in full detail, several days would be needed. Our tour is designed to offer visitors a selection of the most significant highlights within the time available, while also giving the opportunity to enjoy beautiful Sorrento in a single day. All details of the itinerary, including timing and language, are clearly described in the tour information so that our guests know what to expect before booking. We are sorry to hear that the pace felt limited to you, but we hope you were still able to appreciate the incredible history and beauty of these unique destinations. Hope to see You in Rome agian! Warm regards Rosa
