Amazing experience and our driver Anour was very professional and polite.
First, the positive: Communication with the organizer and the driver regarding the pickup went smoothly. I booked a German-speaking driver; we received a driver who spoke neither German nor English, apart from a few snippets of words. Communication nevertheless worked reasonably well. The car rides and visits were organized as described, so no complaints on my part. Negative: Arriving in Kairouan, the driver handed us over to a friend; since the driver was a bit older and not very mobile, we assumed that this friend belonged to the group. He finally led us through the city and showed us many different things. During the tour, he led us to a "weaving workshop," followed by a sales pitch, and likewise at the end of the tour in the "carpet workshop." But the kicker came only afterwards. When we were standing in front of the car again, the guide demanded 60 dinars for the tour and also became more serious when I initially refused to pay it and asked questions. The rest of the tour was then without hidden traps and went well. For women it was fine, stares are guaranteed, knee-length clothing that covers the shoulders and back is appropriate. All in all, it was an interesting excursion; we would not do it again. If the driver hands you over directly to a person, then please ask if you have to pay them; if so, then you can contact Simba tours directly on WhatsApp, they will then take care of it, even during the tour. We are 26 & 24, traveling as a couple.
Wir entschuldigen uns, dass dies nicht klar erklärt wurde. Gebucht war ein Fahrer-Host, kein professioneller Reiseleiter. Ein professioneller Guide kostet 94 € pro Tag und ist abhängig von der Verfügbarkeit. Der Fahrer organisierte kurzfristig einen lokalen Begleiter; die 60 TND bezogen sich auf diese Zusatzleistung. Wir entschuldigen uns auch dafür, dass der Fahrer Sie nicht vorab über das erwartete Trinkgeld informiert hat.

Amazing experience will do it again
The tour of Kairouan, El Jem and Monastir was a memorable and enjoyable day. All 3 places were very scenic in their own ways. Our guide and driver, Beshir, was reliable, on time and offered interesting insights during the trip. He also let us explore at our own pace, and we spent the most time in Kairouan due to the rich Islamic history and saw a few different sights there. In El Jem we saw the amphitheater which took about 40 minutes which was great, and in monastir had one hour to explore the ribat and enjoy the ocean views. Overall, a brilliant day trip with incredible sights and a helpful friendly driver.
I had the best time ever and we had a lovely driver who was amazing through out the experience made everything so smooth.
Béchir is a very good guide and driver. I highly recommend this flexible tour: the day is tailored to your expectations (food, duration of the visit, etc.). Very helpful and friendly. Béchir even went to the pharmacy for us!
Absolutely fabulous trip. Bechir was the perfect guide, polite courteous and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this trip as great value for money. His car was comfortable and air conditioned. The monastery at khairoun was stunning as was the colossium at El Jem. Bechir also took us to meditation where we visited the governors house and also saw how water used to be pumped into the medina .
We had a fantastic experience with our guide Yasser, very professional and friendly service. We were able to customise our tour according to what we wanted to see more of. Pick-up was prompt and on time and drop off locations for each site was clear and easy to find. We really enjoyed Jem which had an admission fee of 20 TND which was well worth for the views. Thankfully, Yasser planned it so that we missed the crowds and had an amazing sunset near the amphitheatre. The vibe in the car was great as we learned some Tunisian tunes and also had great conversations about the local culture. Our pickup was 9:45 and we finished the tour and were dropped at our hotel at around 7 so it took the whole day, despite this we felt as though we had seen the whole country and with Yasser time passed quickly. All in all a great experience and great guide, would recommend.
We loved this tour it was very well organised our driver Anouar was amazing a great driver so safe and got us there fast, he looked after us and really helped us out with a tricky situation he went above and beyond .Its a long day lots to do but the transport was excellent.
