Disfrute de las impresionantes vistas del Parque Nacional Sajón Suiza en uno de sus lugares de interés más famosos - el puente Bastei. Visitaremos uno de los lugares más emblemáticos del Parque Nacional Sajón Suiza: el impresionante puente Bastei. Construido en el siglo XIX, cuando la región se convirtió por primera vez en un destino popular para los amantes de la naturaleza y artistas, el puente conecta imponentes formaciones rocosas de arenisca muy por encima del río Elba. Desde las rocas de Bastei y el puente, disfrutarás de espectaculares vistas panorámicas sobre las montañas de arenisca del Elba y los interminables bosques verdes que se extienden a través del paisaje. Es uno de los lugares más fotogénicos de la región y un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de la belleza natural de la Suiza sajona.
En Dresde, echamos un vistazo al extravagante palacio Zwinger y la casa Semperoper, aprendemos sobre la historia de Dresde, vemos la pintura mural más grande en las paredes del palacio real, visitamos la magnífica iglesia Frauenkirche y luego nos sentamos para disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo. Caminaremos a través de los terrenos panorámicos del Palacio de Moritzburg, una llamativa obra maestra barroca rodeada de un tranquilo lago. Una vez un lujoso pabellón de caza de la nobleza sajona, el palacio es conocido por su elegante simetría, torres ornamentadas y reflejos impresionantes en el agua. Mientras exploramos los hermosos jardines y el parque, disfrutaremos de pintorescas vistas de los senderos arbolados de la finca, esculturas decorativas y estanques serenos. Si bien no entraremos en el palacio, veremos de cerca su gran exterior y nos empaparemos en el ambiente real. En las escaleras del palacio, incluso tendrás la oportunidad de disfrutar de un momento de cuento de hadas probándote el zapato de Cenicienta. ¡Quién sabe, podría encajar perfectamente!

Our party of four needed to go from Prague to Berlin, and having Nikolai pick us up at our hotel, take us there, show us sites along the way, give advice, and good humor was FUN! Even in some chilly, rainy weather, he walked us around Moritzburg Castle, which was perfect because it was EMPTY! And he was kind and generous to our friend who stayed in the van when there was walking involved that our friend could not do. Thank you thank you Thank you, Nikolai and Sidetrip Tours!

Sarka is a friendly and informative guide who safely delivered us to our destination via some interesting cities and countryside. Would definitely consider Side Tours again to travel between cities and countries.
I was hesitant at first because of mixed reviews. I decided to take the chance because there were also great reviews. I booked the tour from Prague to Berlin. We only had 3 people but my tour could not be guaranteed until a 4th person booked. They will not do a tour with less than 4 people for the 99 euro rate. They offered to guarantee the tour with 4 people costing 396 euros. I agreed so I was guaranteed a tour guide would be available. You can also book a private tour for 500 euros but I figured I would save where I can. We ended up having the tour to ourselves so it was like a private tour. We had to meet at the meeting spot since it was technically a group tour. Our tour guide, Sarka was extremely prompt. She built rapport with us, then let us rest while show drove. She was extremely knowledgeable about each of our stops. Our travel day was on a Sunday so there was really no traffic on the road. Traveling on Sunday was also perfect since stores in Berlin are all closed on Sunday except for food establishments. Sarka made really good timing and we arrived to Berlin a little before 5pm. Please understand that timing is different for each group depending on day of week and group size. Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy that i booked this side trip. So worth it and Sarka is the BEST!
Fabulous way to travel from Berlin to Prague and efficiently see some great sights en route. The Dresden stop was just right with enough but not too much time to see the highlights, and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park/Saxon Switzerland National Park was absolutely stunning. Our guide Sarka was amazing - she is incredibly knowledgeable, has an encyclopedic grasp of history, culture and customs in the countries/towns we visited, and offered really helpful tips about what to see and do not only during our transfer but also for our stay in Prague. Highly, highly recommend.
