House of Virgin Mary es el lugar donde Mary pudo haber pasado sus últimos días. De hecho, ella pudo haber venido a la zona junto con San Juan. Este lugar fue declarado oficialmente un santuario de la Iglesia Católica Romana en 1986, y desde entonces se ha convertido en un lugar popular de peregrinación. El Papa Pablo VI visitó el santuario en 1967. La visita a la Casa (iglesia) dura unos 45 minutos y después de nuestra visita; Habrá un viaje de 5 minutos a Éfeso.
Éfeso es un testimonio excepcional de las tradiciones culturales de los períodos helenístico, imperial romano y cristiano temprano. Éfeso es un sitio importante para el cristianismo; siendo una de las siete Iglesias del Apocalipsis. El apóstol Pablo probablemente pasó dos años y medio en Éfeso durante su tercer viaje misionero. En dos horas, explorarás la ciudad caminando por las calles de mármol, acompañado por nuestro guía turístico de habla inglesa. En nuestro recorrido, veremos Odeon, Agora estatal, Prytaneion, Monumento Memmius, Templo Domatian, Puerta de Hércules, Calle Curetes, Templo de Adriano, Latriens. Las visitas a Private House (el llamado burdel, "Terrace Houses") es una visita opcional para un extra de 25 ₺ / persona y su guía debe ser informado de antemano. Después de Terrace Houses, continuaremos nuestra exploración con la Biblioteca Celus, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theather, Arcadiane (Harbor Road).
Continuaremos con la visita al Templo de Artemisa; que es una de las "Siete Maravillas" de la antigüedad. Aquí, habrá una buena oportunidad para tomar fotos de la Iglesia de San Juan y la Mezquita de Isa Bey desde el mejor ángulo.
Sirince es un antiguo pueblo de "ron" (griegos bizantinos) situado en las colinas de Selcuk y a 7 km de Éfeso. Como parte del tratado de paz después de la Guerra Nacional Turca (1919-1922), se acordó un intercambio formal de turcos y griegos y Sirince está habitada por turcos ahora. El pueblo es popular por hermosas casas tradicionales y producción de vino con sabor a frutas; y tendrás tiempo libre para una cata de vinos.

Our guide was fantastic, very good-natured and did a great job managing the group which was diverse with some young children and older people so we didn’t move very fast. We would have enjoyed more time in Ephesus which was the main reason we came to the area. We did add the Terrace houses (paying additional 15€ each onsite when asked if anyone wanted to stop there - it’s inside the ancient city) though nobody else in the tour did this. We thought it was super interesting to see what an actual Roman house and village looked like. But had to zoom through it since timing so tight and this took even more time away from the short duration to see Ephesus ruins.

What a beautiful trip with lots of explanations about Ephesus and Sirinze by our guide Hüray and driver Ali who drove us through a beautiful landscape. Booked through Get Your Guide with this company. Excellent day trip. Gulay, our guide, was extremely informative and spoke excellent English. The tour gave us plenty of time at each of the sites, and also included a very tasty, filling lunch. The bus was clean and spacious. We particularly enjoyed that this was a small group experience as it was also very nice to get to meet the other passengers from a wide variety of countries. Ephesus itself was incredible, such an interesting and enjoyable place to visit. I would advise visitors to wear sensible shoes as the marble sloping walkways are very slippery. The village of Sirence was also very pretty and we enjoyed visiting here as part of the trip. Overall, we felt the trip was well organised and good value for money.
Pick up and drop off to my hotel door were seamless. Our guide Nizam (sp?) was amazing. So nice and knowledgeable. He made everyone feel comfortable and made us laugh the whole day. I’m especially grateful for his timing of the day. He kept us ahead of cruise ship groups and out of the sun at the hottest times of day.
