Excursión de un día de Amman a Petra a través de Madaba, el Monte Nebo y el Mar Muerto
Descripción
Este es un recorrido que se centra en la historia del cristianismo en Jordania, visitará el sitio del bautismo de Jesucristo, Madaba, Mt Nebo antes de relajarse y flotar en las aguas saladas del Mar Muerto. Después de ser trasladado a Petra, donde lo dejarán, para que pueda continuar su viaje al día siguiente.

Su conductor lo recogerá del hotel a las 8:00 y lo transferirá a Madaba. Mejor conocido por sus espectaculares mosaicos bizantinos y omeyas, Madaba es el hogar del famoso Mapa Mosaico del siglo VI de Jerusalén y Tierra Santa. Con dos millones de piezas de piedra local de vivos colores, representa colinas y valles, pueblos y ciudades hasta el Delta del Nilo. El mapa mosaico de Madaba cubre el piso de la Iglesia Ortodoxa Griega de San Jorge, que se encuentra al noroeste del centro de la ciudad. La iglesia fue construida en 1896 dC, sobre los restos de una iglesia bizantina del siglo VI. El panel de mosaico que encierra el Mapa originalmente tenía alrededor de 15,6 X 6 m, 94 metros cuadrados, de los cuales solo se conserva una cuarta parte.
Luego procederás al Monte Nebo donde se dice que Moisés se paró y miró a la Tierra Prometida. En un día despejado, puede contemplar el Mar Muerto y llegar hasta Jerusalén.
Continuando por Kings Hwy, se detendrá en el mirador WadiMujib. Conocido como el Gran Cañón de Jordania, este es un valle expansivo y ofrece excelentes vistas.
Luego serás conducido al punto más bajo de la Tierra; el mar Muerto. Regístrese en uno de los Day Resorts y experimente la sensación única de flotar en las aguas saladas. Relájese y disfrute de las instalaciones del complejo: natación, baño de barro y un almuerzo buffet.

We thank the agency for adapting to our needs; we had little time and inconvenient schedules. However, they were always present. From the airport pickup, we felt safe. It is a very professional and punctual agency. We spent 2 days with them fulfilling the planned itinerary. Both the driver and interpreter were very friendly, attentive, caring, and kind. I had a very nice short visit to Jordan everything very well organized by Jordan Horizon and my driver Mr. Fad who did a great job. After we left Amman we visited an old church, mount Nebo and the dead sea shore before arriving at my hotel in Petra, called Old Village. Very nice place with great views to Petra. The next morning the highlight of the trip: visit amazing Petra! A great experience with guide Mahmoud who explained everything about the history and astronomical background of the site.
