Dear Traveler Many thank for your choosing and booking with our service We hope can host you again next time For the your review , we would like explain as the below: 1) you are not allowed to bring your own drinks (even water) or food (even snacks) during the tour, so you have to buy them onboard where you are overcharged if compared to mainland prices. To this inconvenience, only highlited AFTER you have already booked and paid the tour, add the total lack of kindness and politeness of the crew members that pass silently and distractedly by the tables with their trays. Answer: The regulation not bring your own drink is follow Ha Long Management Department , and all cruises in Ha Long Bay have to follow that because they control everything on Ha Long Bay. If they don't do that , they will pay money to Ha Long Management Department As you said , so do you want pay money to Ha Long Management Department For snacks : There were not regulation about customers can not bring snacks. We already confirmed you only for can not bring your own drinks and we said to you check tour confirmed again. You said everything correct =) This thing , you are wrong 2-2) You get into the minibus and once is full the Guide starts a 40 minutes talk about how life is expensive in Vietnam (come on mate! Seriously?!). Seems like he is trying to move you to piety more than giving real tourist informations (nearly nothing i am honest). Answer: All of tour guide in Vietnam are always happy to assist all customers and give them information about Vietnamese peoples and how is their life. People in Vietnam is very friendly and helpful . Tour guide do his job and try want to make the tour is good for all customers 3) Once in Tuan Chau you are boarded into a ship that clearly needs a good clean and a renovation. It smells muldly, the lower deck is just a dining room with tables lined up along the windows (shutted so you can't even consider the idea of opening one to breath a bit or to escape...) and a bar. The only comfty sitting are in the upper deck and they are not enough for the ammount of pax loaded (only 4 soft chairs!!!). So pepare for discomfort. Answer: You booked "STANDARD CRUISE" and you pay cheap price for the tour but you request higher quality boat. Why you don't book DELUXE CRUISE or LUXURY CRUISE . They are bigger boat and better service but more EXPENSIVE , right? So you don't want to book them so you choose booked STANDARD CRUISE for save money. You get what you pay, it is very fair to everyone . We have lot customers who booked DELUXE CRUISE and LUXURY CRUISE and they said tour is very perfect. 4) The food served was a real nightmare. Fish served with the bones and not an empty dish where store them, quality very Poor. Answer: You can ask all people in the world that Does fish have with the bones or not with Bones. May you want us take bones out of FISH, Right? You are not the KING , we serve to all people not for only you 5) they serve you the food as soon as the ship leaves the harbour without any announcement of welcome by the crew or the captain (they did not even introduce themselfes!!)... Like a bus! The worst is that once the torture of lunch is over they clear the tables and a lady position on EACH of them a selection of goods to sell you: consider that your table is the only area where you can leave your bag and your belongings or have a rest sitted without getting a cold outside, so it is VERY DISAPPOINTING. These ladies don't smile, they don't talk to you. They approach you only to sell you their goods and with rocket high prices. Answer: Our staff on Boat is always smiles and friendly to tourist . That is our Job, you know . May be you are not friendly customers so no one want to welcome you 6) i booked this tour specifically because it was one of the few that was giving you the chance to SWIM. well forget it... The Guide infact, forgets to tell you that the first stop, at ti top island, is your ONLY chance to SWIM. They focus on telling you you have 30 minutes to go up to the hill top and back before being left behind... Without mentioning that the beach is the only places where you would be ever allowed to swim in all the trip!! Answer: Swimming is one of activities in tour itinerary so all tour guide don't want cut this activities because tour guide know already all customers know very cleary itinerary When you see tour guide cut swimming activiies, why you don't ask kim about this and request him let you can swimming. 7) Kayaking is a quick paddle in and out of a cave (20 minutes total) with such a traffic in the cave that you risk to crush against the other kayaks!) Answer: You can choose do Kayaking or Bamboo Boat not only do Kayaking. If you see Kayaking is risk , why you don't inform tour guide change do Bamboo Boat And we sure that tour guide is also inform to you already before doing kayaking 7) all is done without any info during the cruise and while on the Islands. The Guide looks like is there for decoratives uses. We already check with our tour guide. He said when you got on boat, you are happy everything. Nothing happen that until when the boat stop at Fishing House Village for doing Kayaking or Bamboo Boat. You get off the boat but it suddenly your knee was hurt and bloody . Our tour guide asked you to take care you but you said you don't need . And since from that time, you are not happy any more and you also said to tour guide, you hate fishing house village and Chinese tourist And now you said tour guide looks like is there for decorative uses. For all things, you are come from western country and we are respect to you but we don't think because of your hurt , you write all very bad about us like this We also check with other customers who also join in the same tour and boat with you. They are very happy and enjoyed the trip and boat with us. Only you write bad review like this . If you want to select customers,why you don't book the private tour, we can do everything follow you and you can select the cusomers you want to join in with you -"once on the boat the staff was rude and didn’t speak English at all, we couldn’t go out, we couldn’t go upstairs, we couldn’t take pics, they wanted us to have lunch and stay at the table (also lunch was terrible)" We sure you already know the English is not popular in Vietnam before, Not everyone has to force to learn and speak English.
