Great private tour. We were picked up at 5:30 in the morning to go to Valle de las Animas. In the dark we went uphill to see the sunrise, which was very impressive. We continued to Moon Valley, taking the cable cars over the rooftops of La Paz, to Killi Killi lookout and then to the historic center. It was great that we could do everything at our pace. Our guide Patricia explained a lot of interesting facts and answered all questions patiently. Definitely a great experience.
Nice walk. Excellent guide!
We had a fantastic time exploring La Paz! Our guide, Sergio, went above and beyond to tailor the tour to our needs and schedule. His communication was excellent, and his explanations were clear, insightful, and engaging. Our driver, David, was also wonderful—safe, friendly, and reliable throughout the day. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommend!
Brilliant day seeing La Paz my guides Jorge and Sergio picked me up from airport and the started the tour there. Was great seeing the city the sites and moon valley
Where to begin. Private tour is the only way to experience this tour. We were very lucky to have Sergio as our guide. He is the head guy for the tour company. We began with hotel pick at 6:00 am. Early so we could see the sunrise from the Valle de las Animas. Be prepared for the high altitude hike. Keep hydrated and if possible begin with coco tea and lozenges several days before your trip. The view is stunning, the rock formations are amazing. It took us several hours to hike to the top reaching 12,500 When we began the hike the temperature was 34 degree. Be prepared to dress warm. After leaving we then proceed to Moon Valley. Once again Sergio was a wealth of knowledge as to how this area was named. I’m not going to tell you so you can be as surprised as my husband I were. After leaving Moon Valley we went to the best viewpoint in the city Mirador Killi Killi. After returning to LaPaz we visited The Witches Market. Very interesting. We then went to a local restaurant for lunch( cost is not included with the tour) so worth it La Rufinia, huge portions, 3 people $45.00. After lunch we walked to the square to see church of San Francisco and other historical points. A short taxi ride to the Cable Cars. There are 10 lines. Depending on where you want to go in the city. People use them as public transportation. We stay on to the end as our hotel was only a few blocks away. This was a perfect ending to our day. This tour will not disappoint you.
Excellent tour! My guide was Andres. He is not only a great guide but a very kind, gentle and patient person. Excellent photographer! Recommended 100%
Jorge was a great guide. He was informative and gave us the flexibility to spend more our less time at each place. He helped us with purchases in the market, money exchange advice and arranging a transfer to the airport. We really enjoyed the sites and the food!
Did not know it was a private tour when I booked, but sooo worth it. The guide was amazing, fab discussions, and when the Moon Valley park was closed, he offered to pick me up in the afternoon for a sunset viewing on top of Devils Mountain! Also, Animas valley was a highlight for me! BETTER than Copacabana and Isle del Sol. Thanks!!
Andres was an AMAZING guide! He first asked me some of my interests before we left to make sure he catered the tour to me. I learned so much from him, and he was a great photographer for me as a solo traveler. Lunch was also at a fantastic place where each plate was a work of art. I can’t recommend this tour enough!!!
Andreas was a charming, thoughtful & knowledgeable guide. We couldn’t have asked for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our day which was well planned & managed.
