There is a lot of time in the van (just know the locations are not close together) the spots we stopped were wonderful but because there was traffic we lost 30 minutes at one stop and never made the third stop for pictures. We were sitting in the back of the van and could not hear the tour guide.
Immediately felt disregarded. Stepping up into van required a great effort. 2 1/2 feet. I'm 82. In good shape. A step stool for 20 bucks was needed. But no sense of consideration. The water provided was not from a cooler. It was warm. Same with sodas. Chips were all too spicy. Our guide had an accent and it was hard to understand him. We made only two destination stops. Always felt rushed. Even for restroom breaks. Would not use them again. He didn't seem engaged. Never attempted to engage group.
Thank you for sharing your candid feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we want to sincerely apologize for the ways in which you felt disregarded and uncomfortable throughout the day.We take your comments very seriously and would like to address each of your concerns directly:We are reviewing our vehicle setup and will require all vehicles to be equipped with a portable step to better assist guests of all ages and mobility levels going forward. We are addressing this immediately with our operations team to ensure all vehicles are stocked with properly chilled beverages and a variety of snack options suitable for different palates. We regret that you felt the guide was difficult to understand and failed to engage with the group or create a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere. We are taking steps to reinforce our guide training standards, with emphasis on clear communication, hospitality, and attentiveness to guest needs. Once again, we are deeply sorry for this experience. We value your trust and hope you might give us the opportunity to restore your faith in our company in the future.
My first clue should have been all texts from the “guide” related to the excursion were in Chinese then translated to English. I was picked up in the “guide’s” personal older model minivan. The driver/guide was in a tshirt with no visible indication he was with the company. I would not have gotten in but there was another single woman my age ( 60+) in the van she said the driver told her they had overbooked and were taking us and the other participants separately. She said he told her (she was Chinese - American and could speak Chinese) there were supposed to be 5 of us but 2 had not been able to make it. We waited over 30 minutes for the 3rd guest. The driver vaped the whole time we were waiting. The driver ended up vaping the whole trip at every chance he had to jump out of the vehicle. Although my tour clearly indicated English speaking guide- our driver did not speak English at all- only Chinese. The other two tour participants were Chinese and could speak with him and thankfully the other woman my age would share with me what very little he said. When we got to the Bainbridge ferry I had to roll down my back window and speak to the ferry ticket agent because our driver did not understand or speak English and just kept shaking his head at the agent. I know I should have just exited the van at that point but I kept thinking maybe he was taking us to meet the other group, but he was not. Long story/long day….the “sandwich” was a MacDonald’s fish sandwich…the 3rd guest was young, sat in the front seat and repeatedly kept asking (in Chinese) for the other lady and I to stop talking so she could take a nap. I only know what she was asking from the other lady - the young lady then started yelling at both of us - the driver never did anything or said anything. The driver kept “nodding” and appeared very sleepy and we (the lady and I in the back with me) kept watch on him the entire trip- the young lady in front kept turning up the music (Asian “hip-hop” when we tried to have a conversation) Finally when we got back to the ferry there was an hour wait. ..no big deal…part of travel… but when the young lady in the front saw this she immediately laid her seat flat back into the lady behind her’s lap…I tapped the driver on the shoulder and tried to point out and say he needed to make her raise her seat…they both ignored me so I just said well I am calling the company now I have had enough…at that point she did raise her seat “some” so she could understand English. Once on the ferry the other older lady and I got out of the minivan and she told the driver we would be walking off the ferry on our own and find our own way back to our hotels which we did. I do apologize for this long “vent” but I have never experienced anything like this and as you can’t ever really talk to anyone at the company about your concerns this was the only way I knew how. I pray others do not have a similar experience. I would give this experience zero stars but you can’t.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent tour experience. We sincerely apologize that your day fell far short of the standards we strive to deliver, and we deeply regret the stress and disappointment you endured. Please be assured that your concerns have been taken very seriously, and we have thoroughly reviewed them with the guide and team involved. First, we want to address the condition of the vehicle. The vehicle used for your tour was a 2024 Toyota Sienna. We require our vehicles to be washed and inspected before every departure, and the guide confirms this was done. We regret that your impression of the van did not reflect its actual condition, and we will review how we can better communicate vehicle details to guests in advance. Regarding the guide’s appearance and identification, we acknowledge that wearing official company attire or visible identification is important for guest comfort and security. We fully understand how frustrating it was that the guide did not speak English as clearly stated in your booking. We are addressing it directly to ensure that all guides assigned to English-language tours meet the language requirements our guests rightfully expect. We are sorry you were put in a position of having to facilitate communication at the ferry and rely on another guest for translation throughout the day. The guide reports that he only used e-cigarette when guests were not in the vehicle and at a significant distance. We have reminded the tour guides that the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited during work, and we will ensure stricter compliance with this rule going forward. We have also looked into the lunch arrangement. The guide recalls asking for your preference, and that you chose a hot burger over a supermarket sandwich. We sincerely apologize for the discomfort caused to the group by the disruptive behavior of another female passenger on the bus. The tour guide has stated that he asked her to stop her impolite conduct, but she did not comply. While ensuring road safety, the guide did his best to de-escalate the situation, and at each stop as well as on the ferry, he separately explained the situation and offered reassurance to you and the other guests. Going forward, we will take firmer measures, including the possibility of refusing to allow her to continue the trip. The guide firmly states he was not fatigued and was focused on driving safely. Safety is our absolute priority. Your feedback has been shared with senior management to drive immediate improvements. Once again, we are truly sorry and grateful you brought these issues to our attention.
Excellent excursion. Had good weather so we were able to complete all venues. Abundant wildlife seen on the tour. Scenery was breath taking.

Communicate early with your tour guide. Xander was a safe driver and organized once we were on the tour, but changed the pickup time the night before while we’re were already in bed after traveling from an eastern locale. He then called twice and woke us up. We appreciate that he notified us, but I had to reschedule my Lyft ride in the middle of the night to accommodate the new pickup time. A rough start to our first full day in Seattle. We truly loved the Hurricane Ridge and rain forest hike along Crescent Lake. More information regarding local lore, flora and fauna would be appreciated. Overall a wonderful Olympic experience.

We had an incredible time on our Olympic National Park tour with our tour guide, Ryan Si! His narrated tour was really nice to learn about the both the city and the park during the transit, and he truly made all guests feel welcome and comfortable. Beautiful vistas on both hikes, we absolutley recommend it!

What a fantastic day at Olympic National Park. Our guide Ryan Si did an amazing job! His knowledge of the park and surrounding areas were top notch. The hiking trails that he took us to were wonderful that were challenging enough but nothing crazy. Overall it was a bucket list trip and Ryan made it that much more pleasant! Additionally, the lunch he brought for us was delicious and the cherries were the cherry on top😃
