Booked this Tishmac Safaris day trip (by Booking.com/Viatorvwith free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. It was not mentioned if it was a private or a shared tour. Then they let me know just 11 hours before the start the tour that it will be a private one and we must pay 100 USD more or postpone it. An option of free cancellation was not given and for us it was not possible to do it on another day. This cheating company seems to have a clever way to charge customers extra fees. I was nothing but forced to pay the extra fee. They even refused to send me a receipt/proof of payment. The tour itself was ok and the driver nice, but it took 14 hours in total without a visit to the Maasai village.

For me, it was a beautiful and unforgettable experience to witness the way of life of the wildlife in the African savanna, in a country so far away and difficult to access from which I come, which is Mexico. The only inconvenience I had was that my cap flew off my head due to the strong wind when the cart was going at high speed, and it stayed in the park. It was not possible to recover it!

This was a really great and fulfilling experience! It was my first safari experience and first time in Kenya, and this was perfect! Our tour guide Charles was very kind and professional, and made this experience really great overall! Thank you so much!

This was well worth the long drive from Nairobi to get there. We saw plenty of elephants, hippos, and even a couple of lions--which was rare for mid-day, according to our guide. Being able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro was so awesome! The visit to the Masai village was informative and interesting, though it did feel a bit exploitive. Charles was a fantastic guide: he made sure we saw the animals we wanted to see, he gave us plenty of time to take photos, and he pointed out interesting things on the drive. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because the pricing felt deceptive. They have the prices posted for each date, and when you click on the date you want, it changes to "from ___" (e.g., rather than the price being $135, it says the price is "from" that amount), with the caveat "price varies by group size." The day I went listed the price as $120, but when I checked out, the price had doubled to $240. The trip was well worth paying for, but a 100% increase in the price is unnecessarily mercenary. It doesn't seem fair to punish someone for going solo. So, here's my caveat to pay attention to the price when you check out and decide for yourself if it's worth it.

I had an amazing experience visiting the Amboseli National Park! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and I learned so much about the local wildlife and environment. Our guide, Teddy, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the trip. He made sure everyone was comfortable and answered all our questions with great enthusiasm and knowledge. His passion for the park truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an exciting and informative adventure!
